I had a longer text sequence with her but the arrival back and forth is the same as mine and when she asked me the number of floors I texted the number from inside the elevator, but I had lost connection. So, I got off the elevator and the message went through and then she immediately told me the room number and I went up. She also then asked that I not knock on the door. When I asked her about the number of floors question, she said that she does that becasue so many guys get the wrong building and all the buildings at that location have a differnent number of floors, so that helps her know the guy is in the correct building. I guess If you didn't text the number that might explain why she cut it off. She likely gets a lot of strange guys in that student area (including a certain "type" of newcomer to Canada who likes to haggle and isn't very respectful). Not saying you are that, but not surprised she has a quick trigger in shutting it down if she feels uncomfortable. I don't see the floor number in your text sequence?
Huh.

Ya, I've been hearing more and more stories about the hagglers. Even after agreeing, the discussion re-starts in the room.

It absolutely is true.
"nothing wrong with my appearance though", ya, I keep telling myself that too. ;)

"Tell me how many floors" :ROFLMAO:

Huh.
If you think about it, she came up with a pretty clever way of both ensuring the person is real and that they are in the correct building. Must admit, thought it was a bit odd at first, but in the end I had no issue with it.
Hmmm, I better go back soon and invesigate all aspects of her intelligence (and other pertinent features).

That is weird as fuck... huge red flag to tell you to wait for someone to come in or out to enter the building. I would would have left at that time.

Why did she not come down?

She is not very professional.

Same. Heard from various ladies about the haggling and flakey customers from this area. I had one almost cancel on me since i didnt respond right away as I was in the car driving to her. Managed to save the session. She mentioned 226 numbers have been super flakey when I showed up.

If she had worded her question as "I want to ensure you're in the right building, can you confirm how many floors it shows in the elevator" that would have been received better and we probably would have gone ahead with the session. As others implied as well, I had already waited more than 5 minutes to get through the front door, so this strange request was the final straw for me.

I also disagree that it was clever. If she's worried about hagglers and the like then she should move to a non student area and/or rely less on LL posts and focus on repeat/established customers. But it's her business, can do what she likes obviously. I clearly won't be trying to see her again.

I was just being sorta "tongue and cheek" about calling it clever. I also said it was "odd" and as you said she didn't word it properly at all. It just happened to end up working out for me and I got a really good session, but ya it's hard to imagine it doesn't screw things up for a lot of guys (and her, for that matter). I was in the building for like 5 minutes as well before she even gave me the elevator instruction. Just happened that I sorta clued in as to what she was trying to do to protect herself, so I went with the flow. In the back of mind I also knew that she was a good provider based on many many good reviews on the Blue Board and literally Zero bad reviews. And as I said, we had a lengthy back and forth of texting prior to even approaching the building. But I certainly understand why you just said fck it and left. Cheers.
