If she had worded her question as "I want to ensure you're in the right building, can you confirm how many floors it shows in the elevator" that would have been received better and we probably would have gone ahead with the session. As others implied as well, I had already waited more than 5 minutes to get through the front door, so this strange request was the final straw for me.It absolutely is true.
If you think about it, she came up with a pretty clever way of both ensuring the person is real and that they are in the correct building. Must admit, thought it was a bit odd at first, but in the end I had no issue with it.
Hmmm, I better go back soon and invesigate all aspects of her intelligence (and other pertinent features).
I also disagree that it was clever. If she's worried about hagglers and the like then she should move to a non student area and/or rely less on LL posts and focus on repeat/established customers. But it's her business, can do what she likes obviously. I clearly won't be trying to see her again.
