The guy is incredibly insensitive. Rather than bringing a meal everyday, why not just buy a nice birthday, Christmas gift.
He is bringing 1 meal when he knows that no such plan for the others is in place.I get not bringing food for one kid that others can’t have but what should be happening is communication between the two.
If he says he is bringing McD’s then she goes And buys the same For her other 3. If she says she is doing PB&J that day, then he brings a PB&J sandwich.
But that is not what she wants and that is the problem. She doesn’t want to coordinate lunches with him, she wants to leech of him and have him pay for lunch for all four kids. That is where she is wrong.
Agreed. Why isn't she cooking nutritious food for her kids? Don't bother. I know. A fish filet costs close to $6.00 I believe. Two bites. Have to go home and take a bath and brush your teeth and wash your hair to get the smell of it out of you. Used to indulge my guilty pleasure hit once a year or so. Can't bring myself to do it at that price. Actually I had a happy meal first time ever last month. The taste of salt, grease, ketchup, shitty processed crap is still with me. Who would feed their kids that?McDonald's is INCREDIBLY expensive (not beign sarcastic). Feeding three or four kids would cost around $50 where I live (three or four meals), depending if they have regular meals or happy meals. For what you get, it's not a good value. I can only afford to treat myself once in a while. Had she gotten off her fucking lazy ass, a hamburgers and fries could be made in 30 minutes for $10 or so. I make my own fries (potatoes are cheap). The markup on McD's is probably 500%. Every time you buy food there you're paying for:
-rent
-utilties
-labour
-profit for corporation, franchisee
-equipment
-ingredients
-insurance
-accountants, lawyers
-the list goes on and on
If you're poor, don't eat at McD's.
He tried to have just his child go with him to eat, she said no and threw the food on the street. He is bringing 1 meal when he knows that no such plan for the others is in place.
This is totally unacceptable.
If she isn`t going to do the same for the other 3, he needs to take his kid to McD, or at least drive around the block while he eats.
While I somewhat get her response/point, those are not his kids. Never were. Maybe the right thing is to buy for all, he isn't obligated. Her doubling down while 'everyone' criticises her, just shows that she doesn't get the root point; they're not his responsibility. He was being nice when they were together, but has zero obligation to continue after the break up. Hopefully she does the same when legally seeking/getting child support; all or nothing. Her response

Submit your application, you might be the lucky manI wonder if she is still looking for a man.
Sounds like an opportunity to have a nice happy life with her.
This should do the trick. Print out an extra one for her as well. If they both got jobs at MacDonald's problem solved. She said she was on food stamps. Anyway the guy deserves some credit for showing up to see his kid. I gather the other 3 dads don't bother.Submit your application, you might be the lucky man![]()
Why do I get the impression that even if this sap brought food for all the kids that she would still find something to bitch about. This should do the trick. Print out an extra one for her as well. If they both got jobs at MacDonald's problem solved. She said she was on food stamps. Anyway the guy deserves some credit for showing up to see his kid. I gather the other 3 dads don't bother.
