Do some math to compare...my assumption is you are paying $200 per hour...if she has 4 guys in one day and 5 days per week - then working, say 40 weeks a year she is already making $160,000 !

Using only 40 weeks accounts for downtime she may have or other costs etc. that may be involved.

Maybe the lady feels you are becoming too close or attached to her, and gave you that price hoping it would shock you back to the reality of the situation. Or the agreement you proposed could be outside her comfort zone for some reasons, so she gave you an unacceptably high price.
That is what I do in my business. We never turn down a deal flat. We just quote a ridiculous price on a deal we don't want. Every now and then someone accepts and we are quite happy to take the ridiculous sum. But mostly they do what I hoped they would and walk away.

Connecting this thread with the "Reprimanded by an Agency" thread:

I think it is interesting that several terb members were eager to insult the SP in question in the "Mistress for Hire" thread, rather than ask questions about why she might not be willing to enter an agreement like this with the OP. A few of you suggested she was 'greedy', 'high on herself', deserved 'skid marks' on her sheets, that she was unreasonable to not accept the offer, etc etc.

Would you leave your job if some dude you just met offers to pay you a sum of money to exclusively work for him? What would your incentive be to trust that he will pay up, and not simply disappear after a month? Or that this person would be someone you want to spend a lot of time with and become financially dependent upon? Or let's face it, not just be a controlling psycho who, in his delusional state, thinks he can buy you? (BTW I'm not suggesting that the OP is a controlling psycho, just that the idea that he may not be safe or trustworthy may have crossed the SP's mind).

It sounds like the OP may have made this offer after one session. Maybe it was a couple, or a few. Wait. Who is being greedy and unreasonable in this scenario??

Can't speak for all hobbyists on here, but most guys would spend in the 6 digits number on sps in about 10 years! (easily I might add) It is not that outrageous for her to suggest her 'asking' price to the OP. She knows that she would not get her price but she is waiting for a counter offer from the op if he is serious enough about the arrangement. Would it make sense to 'sugar' her for at least 100-120k a year instead? I would not do it myself because I always in it for ROI. You mentioned about having a sp as mistress. That means you must have a lot of spare cash flow going around between your current SO plus your future mistress! Be careful for what you wish for.

I would love to her the SP's version of the encounter/discussion. I think she likely demonstrated a lot of restraint in answering 'matter of factly'.

I spent some time with one of the girls who is fairly popular, and well reviewed here.

We got along well and I asked her what it would cost to keep her exclusive.

When I suggested 5 to 10k per month, she looked at me ridiculously and said "you are kidding right?"

Apparently 20 to 30 k per month (after tax dollars) is what she is looking for.

Has anyone had experience with this?
Can you describe her physical appearance?

Thanks for explaining your point of view on this. The situation is indeed more complex than as it was presented in the original post. All of your points are quite valid, although somewhat speculative since we don't really know much about the op or the sp involved. It occurs to me that the girl could have been a little more straight forward with the client by saying that she is not looking for an exclusive arrangement or she does not know the client well enough to enter into such an arrangement. What she did instead was insult him. This is what I was reacting to with my earlier statements. However, this too is speculative and assumes that she wasn't already completely creeped out by the client.

Stoo, you raised the best point so far. The gorgeous face on this girl is slowly fading in memory, and that is a good thing.

Very interesting when comparing both threads by the OP and seeing how he conveniently avoids certain posters and their comments/suggestions/opinions while certain to entertain some others. Seems to be that in this thread, he is wanting people to come down on the escort in question, make her appear unworthy of him to help him rid himself of his lust for her. Comparing her to a used taxi, etc is exactly the type of response the OP seems to need. Quite sad when you really think about. I am sure she is a good person, has a heart/feelings and the OP simply needs her image to be tarnished enough for him to move on from her. Personally, I don't like people like that. Building yourself up off of putting others down is not a quality that I think most women admire either.

I surmise that the escort knows exactly the type of person this man is and knowing that, wanted nothing to do with his attempted arrangement. Saving herself the pain of having to exclusively entertain this man for months on end. I highly suspect that even 30K a month would not be enough for her in having to deal with this type of person. Which I can understand based on my opinion of the OP based on the posts thus far. I wouldn't want to either.

in my business, we always routinely poach the best talent by offering initially the same salary but with more benefits and incentives. we do all sorts of analysis when poaching staff to make sure we can tempt them to jump ship.
But the OP did not do the analysis or make an offer tempting enough to interest an established professional.

Mighta worked if he was fishing in a pool where the talent was untested and untaught, but not where a paycut was his best offer.

Maybe...if you're talking about some dime-a-dozen BP girl. The irony of this business is that the ones who see fewer clients/have less sex are the ones making the most money. There are girls who make $10K for a 3 or 4 day getaway, as well as girls who tour the "party circuit" who make $10K+ for a couple days work amid a group of high-rollers.
The girls who really make the big dough are the girls who are hired by these Saudi rich oil princes/kings (fathers and sons go together), the more disgusting stuff they let them do to these girls the more money they make ($50,000 for like a one week trip), common term for these girls is "Porta Potties", you can guess why.

Well if it was me $5 to $10k a month would be ideal for me. As most people out there they don't know their living expenses so she really needs to figure that out I think yea her asking for more is a little ridiculous.

thats a pretty big gap, 5k a month, when the avg family budgets to within a couple hundred bucks a month.

I had an arrangement with a gentleman and I received a donation of 3 thousand per month and that was more than enough to keep me exclusive. And it wasn't all cash. He leased a car for me and paid my boarding bills but we subtracted those amounts from the 3000 and he gave the rest to me in cash, up front everymonth But keep in consideration that I only worked part time to begin with. He received a key to my apartment, and was allowed to come when ever he pleased so long as I had notice (I have the type of family that drops by and just walks into my house lol) I thought it was a great deal, this lasted for almost 6 great months until his finacial situation changed.
