I've been working out since my early 20's on and off. Last few years I've had some difficulties in my oersonal life and been working out steady without no time off till now.

I can't believe the benefits I got from working out not only keeping strength up but mentally as well. Its really helped me during my issues.

I do push ups go hiking and have a couple of 20 pound dumbells but it's not even close to the same.

Plus the beautiful ladies in there lovely skin tight outfits where amazing.

It's the thing I miss most since the lockdown.

In the same boat as you. I have recently gotten into working out but was getting some good results in the last 6 months and finally felt like I had a nice routine.

My gym is offering virtual personal training sessions and I was skeptical at first but it is awesome. I also just got some bands I use for upper body with the trainer.

I hear you bud I’ve never missed the gym for more than five days in a long long long time! It’s like my solace, get yourself a bow flex or the like you’d be surprise how much you can do. I’ve never jogged before & seen so few cars it’s a beautiful thing I tell you

Same here, actually miss it more than hobbying. Haven't missed a week of gym in years apart from vacations. Keeps my energy and mood intact. I can go without hobbying, but not going to the gym is the worst part of covid by far. Makes working from home that much more difficult, no gym to look forward to. Trying to do my best by running in the local park and some youtube home workouts, but nothing can beat deadlifts, the squat rack, and bench press!

One thing I dont miss is listening to the muscle heads grunting and dropping the weights on the ground.

I hear you bro. I’m miles away from any gym so I set up a country work out in my bushlot: buck sawing Logs, tolling tractir tires, lifting bags of gravel, dragging a logging chain through the woods etc. It’s not refined but it’s helping me get a more balanced work out. All those little stabilizer muscles hurt like a bitch at the end of the day.

It’s good. Nice to change things up

I hear you guys for sure. I can't state how much I miss the gym. I have been particularly frustrated because I currently live in China and my gym has reopened, unfortunately due to the xenophobia against foreigners right now, my gym is currently no foreigners allowed. I get it and understand the mindset behind the decision as the perception is that the only new cases here are from out of country. I know I know, the hypocrisy of the situation. But I get it people are scared. Still I miss my damn gym haha

Are you still being billed for the monthly charge? I know I was last month. But I will dispute it if they charge me for this month.

They were pretty cool with us out here. We prepay for the entire contract of the gym in China, so they just extended our membership by a few months as they were closed. Any Western places should absolutely stop charging their customers during a closure. If you entered a contract for a service and they are unable to provide said service, that's on them not you.

It is funny, I have a Max Trainer here at home, I never use. I was going to the gym 4/5 days a week before all this. I can’t seem to get myself to get on that machine. But love the ones at the gym.

Yeah, big part of it. I've put in some good workouts at home but women sure makes for better motivation.

That and sports. I haven't played soccer or basketball for months.
