Most Sane people would choose Carny over Pierre the trump administrators that gave pierre a whole new look and make over even turned his skin orange the night of election. Every single post he does on social media is lead by the American republicans. His advisor wears her maga hat as many times as she can but when pp thought trump was causing him to lose he had trump say hes not maga boy. but there hundreds of pictures proving otherwise.
Carney has no clue of an average Canadian problems. In the debates he was not able to answer or guess, weekly family expenditure. As per him he is elitist. Someone doesn't want to vote for conservatives that's fine, but don't support Carney. He is a liar.
Btw, heard of Scarborough firing in the pub yesrerday. I assume liberals gun ban is not working.

He was chairman of the board who is responsible to shareholders. I am not worried about that. He was not a political figure in the UK, but he was right. The Brexit was a huge mistake for them.
He's a WEF puppet who moved his business to the US shortly after Trump was elected and is now trying to convince you that Canada is a priority for him and that the carbon tax is worth scrapping if it means winning an election.

And Only-ever-worked-in-politics, gold-plated-pension @ age 32 Pierre Polievre does?

IT costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to become leader of a party. "regular joes" can't hack it.

Why would Trudeau want his party to lose? Low IQ comment here
Who said he wants his party to lose?
He just doesn't want to be the leader who loses.

If you're going to troll with insults at least understand the context...otherwise you just look silly.

PeePee has no policies. He just attacked Trudeau and gabbled about "Making Canada Great Again". That's why he is now likely to lose.
Yeah...that's a stretch.
Let's see here...the next step in the leftist tactic manual is to compare him to Hitler right? Lol!

More misinformation being spread by Liberal supporters who have Stockholm Syndrome.

Funny how the Liberals are copying Conservative policies like scrapping the carbon tax after defending it and forcing it on us for a decade now that they might lose the election.

Their virtue-signaling ideology takes a back seat real quick doesn't it?

That is just what I explained in the post you are responding to.
"As I said I will vote ideologically to do my part in voting against right wing politics (whatever that means in Canada) as the world is trending in a dangerous far right direction."
You mean you will support a party whose ideology about the carbon tax has suddenly changed because they fear losing power?

That's funny.

Talk about Stockholm Syndrome! Lol!

That's totally up to you.
But no, the rhetoric being similar isn't "my opinion".
It just is.
Whether or not you think it is fair that he is being tarred by that association is a separate issue.
So any candidate from any party that wants to fix their country is automatically compared to Trump?

When is the inevitable Hitler comparison coming?

You know as well as anyone that the prime minister doesn't have to be an MP and that people don't vote for the prime minister at all in Canada.
Don't pretend to be shocked.
you know as well as anyone, not a single Canadian has voted for Carney in a general election.
He has to call an election and real soon

I'm not trying to link Poilievre to Trump.
yes you are
He is linked to Trump for much of the public, despite the small overlap in specific policy proposals.
not at all
Poilievre is dead set against Canada as the 51st state
Poilievre is dead set against tariffs
Poilievre is dead set against stacking the senate and judiciary

I haven't said a thing about what policies I do or do not support.
I haven't even said whether I think Carney is a good choice.

Oh wow you found some bs web archive screenshot with his name on the WEF website? And that makes you think he's a WEF puppet despite being vocal about it and forbidding any of his ministers from attending WEF conferences?

That's funny.

He failed to prevent it.

You think the amount of the rebates comes anywhere close to how much more the carbon tax has forced us to pay? Now I see why it fooled so many people after statements like that.

i am happy to reimburse the rebates, just as soon as i get reimbursed for all the direct and indirect costs to me of these evil carbon taxes.

The carbon tax was never a point of concern for me.
This was Pierre's talking point.
And your usage of stockholm syndrome is incorrect.
The carbon tax is a point of concern for most Canadians who have seen affordability become a serious issue over the past 10 years.
Even Liberal MPs started realizing it was a sham and demanded it be dropped leading up to JT's resignation.

So if that wasn't a point of concern for you then what was? Blackface? Costumes? Firing women but claiming to be a feminist?

Why would you trust a party that decided to go against their own ideology just because they want to stay in power?

I mean, this is a moral truth.

$1b, sitting in a savings account, earns you $30 million/year.

I live in pretty lavish circumstances: Multiple properties, multiple cars/bikes/toys, funding kids education, high-level/cost sports, etc. for about $200k/year.

I can not understand what I would do with $30 million/year.

To hoard that much wealth means you blew past the point where you could keep your entire town out of poverty, and decided "yeah, I need more".

When you achieve $1billion net worth (as an individual), you should get a plaque that says "Congratulations, you won capitalism", you should be forced to resign any leadership positions you have, and your tax rate should go to 100%.

I'm even generous enough to index that $1billion number to inflation, so those poor billionaires don't lose spending power over time.
