Fanatics aside
This type of thing has happened a few times before in golf on the men's side.
Some kid named Ty Tryon (sp?) was a phenom, turned pro at a young age , played poorly and dropped off the radar completely.
Justin Rose finished 4th at the British Open at 16 or something, turned pro at 17 and missed something like 20 consecutive cuts. He "became good agan" at age 21 and is now in the top 30 or 50 players world wide. Same kind of story for Aaron Badderly.
