Michael obviously didn't experience a normal childhood and is spending most of his adult life trying to re-capture it.
Pool, if I wanted an “I don't know category I would have added it myself. As a moderator you should not be altering members original posts, or Poll's.. this makes TERB lose credibility as a forum. How does one know that there posts won’t be altered by you in the future? It’s uncalled for that you should have altered my poll what so ever!pool said:
I retracted my vote for "not guilty", which was only cast to help balance out the lynch mob scenario, and took the liberty of adding "I don't know" - magic, ya know : )
I hate to break it to you, but part of the role of a moderator is to edit polls and posts, but only if requested by the member or the content of the post oversteps TERB guidelines. As well as activating links. I can assure you that neither myself or any moderator would use this privilege in an underhanded manner - I think most people trust the ethics of moderators on this issue.zzap said:Pool, if I wanted an “I don't know category I would have added it myself. The difference is that in the case of an election most people have all the information they need [or at least as much as they are given] to interpret it and make an "informed" decision. In that case, given the stage it's at, an option of "I don't know" would be of no use whatsoever in direct relation to the result. In a sense, some people are forced to make a conclusive decision. In a survey, which I presume this is intended to be, it's a different story. If people “don’t know then they should not cast a vote at all. Do we have a “I don’t know on the ballot when we vote for Prime Minister?
Apology accepted.pool said:
So, I did overstep my boundaries as a moderator. I was wrong to assume you would see it as a helpful gesture and useful option given the progression of the thread. I should not have intruded on your poll in any form unless requested.
My apologies to those who voted "I don't know". I returned it to it's original state.
I voted guilty... I don't know what he is guilty of, but MJ is guilty of something.. it's either blatant stupidity/ignorance or the crime that he is accused of.... either way he should go to jail... it's time that people go to jail for being stupid...Drunken Master said:Do I think he's creepy, bizzare motherfucker? Yes. Do I think it's weird to have sleep-overs with kids? Yes. Did I find it disgusting when Jackson said "That's what you do with people you love, you take them to bed" in the infamous documentary? Yes.
Do I think he "molested" these kids? No. There's a fine line I just don't believe he crossed. Damn close, though, and he certainly left himself open to his current situation.
Would I let him within 300 yards of my own kids? Not on your bloodly life.
BTW...what's wrong with you DM.... Spidey does not danceDrunken Master said:Do I think he's creepy, bizzare motherfucker? Yes. Do I think it's weird to have sleep-overs with kids? Yes.
