I like to think that MI6 did their job.

There are some things that are just not on.

You mean the future King of England with a Muslim step-dad? That would have been funny.

Surprised Philip had never invited him around for a spot of fox hunting.

What an incredible waste of money this has all been . After two prior and exhaustive investigations both concluding that the cause of their deaths was the humdrum reality of a speeding drunk driver. The only reason there is a Coroner’s Inquest at all is for the bizarre reason that because Diana’s body was brought back to the U.K. to be buried. an Coroner’s Inquest had to be held, whereas if they had both been buried in France a Coroner’s Inquest could not have been held at all.

Given the bizarre necessity for a Coroner’s Inquest, it has been turned into a circus production due to the overwhelming megalomania and delusional thinking of Mohamad Fayed. Who has publicly accused practically the entire British Establishment including her sister, and two best friends of all being parties to a massive murder conspiracy.

It probably won’t happen but after all this and the predictable outcome it would be justice for T.R.H. Princes William and Harry to bring a wrongful death action against Mr. Fayed’s business empire and in particular the Ritz Hotel. I have little doubt that one reason for Mr. Fayed’s delusional thinking and conspiracy theories is that his legal advisors have pointed out him the huge direct and vicarious liability of the Ritz for their employee Henri Paul’s actions if they are determined to legaly be the cause of her death.

I think it's a comment on how pathetic the British Royals are that this is even a topic.

Hmm, good way of looking at that-Aardvark154. However I am not sure if its poss. to sue over a wrongful death like over here. Their laws are quite different. The wife does not get even close to half the money unless she earned it, unlike over here in a divorce.

But look at Diana's death this way, her kids are now free to be raised how ever the Queen feels fit. The royal family got fresh blood by having 2 sons from Diana. There was nothing left for them to get out of her.

Maybe they did play a roll in her death or maybe not. But one thing is for sure, the royal family sure was glad to have her gone-and don't anybody say otherwise.

Think how it would have been if she had another son or two? Those kids would have been William and Harry' s half bothers! Diana still had "royal blood" since was was married to Charles at one time. Any more kids would have been part of that royal family too.

Diana's death stop that from happening.

I have been following this thanks to the Sun UK. Diana was awake when the doctors reached her in the car. They gave her a shot to knock her out-they claim she was fighting with them-then they took her to a hospital 1 hour away. It took them almost 2 hours just to get to her in the first place.

Seems like nobody really tried to save her life either.

I don't know. A British Barrister friend indicated that there was some action he thought they could bring. However, it was only in passing and I don't remember precisely what action he mentioned.

Had dinner with a Brit couple last month in the BVI's and discussed sailing, Richard Branson, the Royals and the true sperm donor for Prince Harry.

The couple commented that in England the crazy tabloids never make any suggestion that Harry's father may not be Chuck. That speculation is publically discussed only by the non-British press. There is apparently a handshake agreement between the Palace and the press that it is a subject that is never to raised.

Is this thought control really possible?

Look at Harry and other members of the Royal Family. Plus even his mother wasn't that shocking stupid when it came to her children. Additionaly one of the reasons our press says such things are that the libel laws are different than in the U.K. - in laymen's terms they don't have to prove that what they say is the truth about a "public figure."

Well if theres any truth to it, then thats just 1 more good reason the royal family is -hate to say glad but thats it--glad she is gone and can not speak out.

Mr. Fayed's extraordinary performance the other day perhaps has finally shot his bolt - Parliament is at long last beginning to make noises about the colossal waste of money involved in the Coroners Inquest. The Times quotes the following:

Denis MacShane, a former minister: This is not only a farce, it is a contemptible abuse of British law and a scandalous waste of public money.”

Lord Foulkes: A senior member of the Intelligence Committee: “it’s a total waste of time and money. The extraordinary performance of Fayed has turned the whole thing into a circus.”

Indeed.
It's beginning to looks like Kenny Starr's GOP witch-hunt where Ken wasted $80 Million investigating Bill Clinton's Hummer, eh!....;)

But America has so much money that $80 mill was less than a drop in a bucket it was more like a drop on a dress.
