Looks like he died of COVID, was against vaccines and COVID restrictions .
The Irish would say "karma".

Just remember this. You are here to-day because your ancestors made intelligent choices or got lucky or maybe it's just fate.

I now want to destroy my "Bat Out Of Hell" record.
Don’t. He was a talented guy. He had a right to his opinion. He took his chances, he paid his price.

Correction. He would do ALMOST anything for love.
Or, he did not love the people close to him.

If it wasn't for Jim Steinman, Loaf would be a nobody!
Would you say the same about Bernie Taupin and Elton John?

Somewhat different but, Lennon without McCartney? Vice versa?

Basically any famous singer who had to rely on a songwriter.

BAT OUT OF HELL is a great album and Meat Loaf was a fantastic vocalist.
RIP.
Btw this isn't the time for Branch Covidians to air their hate-filled views.
His body is barely cold and nothing has been proven yet.

Bernie and Elton-yes, Bernie would just be a poet without Elton, Elton would have been perhaps just a studio musician without Bernie
Lennon and McCartney- no, both could sing and write songs (lyrics and music) on their own

He had gorgeous man boobs in Fight Club, he'll be missed.

According to Variety, his actual name is Marvin Lee Aday and the anti-vax story is false. When Jim Steinman passed away, Meatloaf went into deep depression and became a shut in. It's also known that he developed an irregular heart beat, going off his heart meds is probably what did him in.

The irony is Steiman and Aday are both Jewish yet they created Wagnerian rock music. Meatloaf remains rock's only Helgentenor, singing like he did is very stressful, no one else has attempted it.

In his prime, Meatloaf must have been as big a stud as Jonas Kaufmann is today....Leopold, Leopold,Leopold!

The first concert that I ever saw was ELO and Meatloaf at Exhibition Stadium. Bat Out Of Hell, one of my favorite albums of all time.

Clearly the Beatles comparison was not as clear cut. Maybe not early in their careers, but as they matured it seems to me that Paul's songs/songwriting was vastly superior and innovative than John's, starting as early as songs like Yesterday and Michelle.

I think that Paul had a much better chance of being a solo star than John. Plus he was cuter.

I think I was there. Did they have the big space ship on stage? If so, I'd forgotten that Mr. Loaf was the opener.

Bat out of Hell was a big hit at my grade school birthday party in the 1970s at my house. I also rented the Etobicoke Olympian pool for a couple of hours for some swimming fun for this party.

Yes they did. Meatloaf was the 2nd act and then ELO.
