If Price is indeed out for the season, the Habs are in need of a more solid goalie, rather then offence. You do realize we're talking 2 years down the road right??

No question about his talents. The only question is whether he gets injured. A broken hand and collarbone so far. (For example, Sidney Crosby's career and maybe life might be shortened because of the concussions.)

A La Wayne Gretzky. McDavid's first game against the Leafs was stellar with 5 Points, 2 goals and 3 helpers. He was unselfish as he handed the picked to Eberle for his first career hat-trick.

The reality is is that teams turn into perennial losers and can't shake that tag no matter what they do, Toronto and Edmonton are like this, The Leafs might get like the Islanders, Flyers, Capitals, Blues, Wild, Predators, Habs, Clippers, Rockets, Bengals, AZ Cardinals, as in pretty good but never taken seriously, because in the end they always lose.

For whatever reason only certain teams can produce a winning culture, ownership is the reason as everything starts at the top. The leafs have too many egos at the top, it will never work, and ownership is laughable.

I can see things in Edmonton becoming verrrrrry interesting in the next couple of years when things look like there turning around and the Oilers become a good serious playoff team, where are they going to find the money to sign everyone, who are they going to keep, who are they going to trade? Who do you think the Leafs will make a play for?
