It's not uncommon for brush fires to happen at least once a month. Even in the winter months which is their typical rainy season.
Talk to people who have visited any of the Hawaiian islands many times. Maybe they can clue you in.

Sure let's blame climate change....but currently what has the Biden administration been doing about this? There's billions funneled to Ukraine in a span of what? Is Maui still in a state of emergency or it has upgraded to a state of disaster?
To repeat myself, I am not blaming climate change directly for this event. I am saying that it is another case of a pattern of incidents like this worldwide that are increasing in frequency and severity. Natural disasters have always occurred and always will. But this increase from what was the historical norm is what is disturbing.
It is clear that temperatures globally are increasing. Increase in temperatures and increases in natural disasters occurring concurrently. Coincidence? I, IMHO, think not.
Trying to score political points accomplishes nothing. Everyone is impacted someway. As I recall, trump weakened the EPA's powers.

I would say climate change / global warming is a big factor of this wildfires....it isn't political but what has the Biden administration done so far? I mean, they've been throwing billions overseas and not on your own backyard? You should try using the google and checking out the Biden climate plan, its getting quite a bit done and renewables are up massively as a result.
