The government has no rights to make you wear masks and know your whereabouts. Much less whether you have the fucking flu or not. Never give out your real info when they ask. Don't let them tread upon your rights.

Tell that to Texas Governor Gregg Abbot.

It's like some people don't want the virus to be contained. I just don't get it.

no people are tired of the fear mongering lies and the inflated death counts

Masks have been shown to reduce transmission by 70%. They are asking those to wear a mask indoors and in instances when social distancing isn’t possible. I don’t see that as a major inconvenience.

4 years ago I visited Japan and the one major observation is their societal ethos and emphasis on taking consideration of people around them. Thus, mask use is common as a courtesy to not infect others. It’s no wonder they’ve been able to halt the spread much faster than other places. And it also happens to be a country with a very healthy population—in regards to those who claim masks somehow impair your immune system.

If only we can emulate this system of consideration of others as they do in Japan. Your world isn’t the only world. Not everything is about us. Its a small price to pay if it can safeguard your health and others while still allowing us to enjoy a good sense of livelihood. There are people who want to see their families, travel, businesses that need to move on to the next stage etc. Wearing a mask can allow us to do all that safely.
If you love Japan so much, go live there.

Why is racism so big in Japan?
It’s not just some Japanese shops that try to bar foreigners – schools and landlords can be equally unwelcoming. So maybe it’s not surprising a government adviser has called for apartheid, South Africa style

Japan seems to be on the verge of a second wave, possibly because of reopening businesses and schools a few weeks ago...
Johns Hopkins shows their 4th of July number at 276 -- it looks like for the first time in months, Canada is doing better in terms of daily cases.

Still, given their 130 mil population and density, Japan's voluntary mask culture is probably playing some role in slowing the virus spread.

Many more would have died without the lockdown, social distancing, mask wearing & other safety measures (e.g. hand washing).

IOW if C-19 had always been treated as "just another flu", many - MANY - more deaths would have occurred already.

Not only that, but many hospitals would have been overwhelmed. Leading to many more - non C-19 - deaths because the overwhelmed hospitals couldn't handle both C-19 emergency cases and non C-19 emergency cases, leaving the latter to die.

There are governments who have said they will fine people for not doing so.

Do you have the right to put other people's lives at risk? Drive a car like a fool and find out what the government will do to you & your so-called "rights".
There is no risk to begin with
