My wife has a compromised immune system, so this virus could kill her. I care more about her than someone who feels bad breathing through a mask. If they're not lying, they have alternatives.

i and others are not responsible for your wife's health. she is the one who should be isolating NOT THE REST OF US.

People living in the most diverse neighbourhoods were also more likely to experience severe outcomes (hospitalizations, ICU admissions and deaths) than people living in the least diverse neighbourhoods
...
I know your qanon sources want everyone to believe that minorities are somehow unclean but even you know it is tied to poverty, nor ethnicity.

So is COVID real or not is question??? Regardless of your dingbat analyses, you keep contradicting yourself. It kills, it doesn't kill or are poor people, older folks, folks with compromised immune systems expendable therefore COVID is no big deal and let us let it rip through the population like it was 1999?
You on other hand love the Strawman arguments
It helps you feel like you are winning

No one ever said Covid does not exist. As has been stated multiple times it is simply a more severe flu.
Some people die but the numbers of dead (which are published now if you care to look) are not that much worse than any other given year.
Just like any other strain of flu the ones who die more frequently are those who are older. Poverty and general health are again obvious contributing factors.

The hoax is not the virus itself; the hoax is the insane reaction to it and the governments power grabs (quite frankly I am surprised more people are not complaining)
We essentially have a dictatorship at this point with one ruling party. A ruling party who has used the guise of covid to push through all sorts of other agendas.

  • eg Ford killing off the Conservation Act for his developer buddies
  • Ford trying to criminalize protestors against cruelty to animals for his slaughterhouse buddies
  • Ford ramming the GTA West Corridor back into existance despite the 407 being abandoned during pandemic (1st year they ever missed targets) and even on a good year the 407 is seriously underused while 401 clogs up
  • Ford trying to introduce legislation to prevent people being criminally responsible for actions during pandemic; we already have even CBC sources showing that "covid deaths" include old people left to rot without any water or clean up as they die of dehydration sitting in their own feces. (Yeah he prob has a connection here as well)
  • Somehow claiming a small business who has 2 to 5 people in store at a time is a "super spreader" of Covid while box stores allow hundreds inside

I am sure others can post hundreds of other issues those are just a sample

The hoax is your ability to reason, read and actually grasp what you are reading and believe you know what you're remotely talking about.

I agree that small businesses should be allowed to operate if big box stores can operate. Every now and then, you point out something of common sense.

But considering how countries that are better at wearing masks -- think Asian societies -- have such lower rates of spread, I think it's hard to argue that masks are useless. It's hard to show how bad things would be if no one wore masks and completely ignored the pandemic, without letting the pandemic run its course and decimate the population. Then we could say gee, if only we'd worn masks.

You CAN look at places that have spurned masks and control efforts for a while for a peek at alternate realities -- North Dakota had a per capita rate that placed it among third world countries until they started wearing masks.

Exactly. It's these COVIDIDIOTS who refuse to wear a mask and social distance prolonging the closures. Small business if following mask mandates and keeping distance I agree should be able to open. Restaurants and bars are a different animal because it is impossible to keep a mask on when eating and drinking. I would allow gyms but masks must be worn and if one cannot workout with a mask, then too bad, work out at home.

Such a load of absolute bullshit.

We are ALL responsible for each others health by our actions. There are laws to prevent us from doing things that harmful to others. We tolerate them in a fair and just society. There are limits to everyone's freedoms. While his wife can isolate it is incumbent on us all to NOT do things that could pose a harm to others. If you are NOT isolating then YOU could be complicit in spreading the virus. How the fuck can you live with yourself knowing you could pose a risk to others?

Don't even bother answering that. It's obvious we are in the predicament we are in because a good portion of the population doesn't give a fuck about the greater good. This virus if the perfect thing to run a mock in a society of ME ME ME ME ME ME.

When I can shop naked (clothing free) this summer - just wearing a mask, I might be interested.
Can't see you getting much grassroots support for that, just saying....

Actually, it does prevent flu. This year's numbers don't lie.
I dont care whether you think covid is fake or covid is an apocalyptic plague
We both know that many non-covid cases (eg flu like) have been counted in the covid cases / deaths

Canada loses as many as 8,000 old people per year due to flu
Last year we lost 15,000 old people due to covid

Face masks cause PERMANENT brain damage according to Neurologist

We told you recently how SAGE have called for the Government to change their policy on mask wearing (again) and make it mandatory to wear them outside, as well as advising to “double up” and wear two at once. If you missed it you can find the article here. We’ve also consistently said how wearing a mask at all is a bad idea and based on terrible science, but nothing has changed and the majority of the general public still comply through fear of a £200 fine or because of their “what will the neighbours think?” mentality. But today we’re able to report something that may even change the mind of the most avid mask wearing fanatics.

The words of Dr. Margarite Griesz-Brisson MD, PhD, founder and medical director of the London Neurology and Pain Clinic. Dr M G-Brisson is a Consultant Neurologist with a PhD in Pharmacology, with special interest in neurotoxicology, environmental medicine, neuroregeneration and neuroplasticity. So in other words she’s an expert on the brain with the qualifications to prove it. And this is what she has had to say on wearing face coverings…

“The reinhalation of our exhaled air will without a doubt create oxygen deficiency and a flooding of carbon dioxide. We know that the human brain is very sensitive to oxygen deprivation. There are nerve cells for example in the hippocampus that can’t be longer than 3 minutes without oxygen – they cannot survive.

The acute warning symptoms are headaches, drowsiness, dizziness, issues in concentration, slowing down of reaction time – reactions of the cognitive system.

However, when you have chronic oxygen deprivation, all of those symptoms disappear, because you get used to it. But your efficiency will remain impaired and the under-supply of oxygen in your brain continues to progress.

Wearing a face mask might cause brain damage?? What’s 1000% apparent is that some morons on here already have pre-existing brain damage.:ROFLMAO:
This is why u don’t drop babies on their heads or expecting mothers should avoid crack.
