Thank you to all of you for these awesome memories. After I joined the Army, my mom actually kept taping Married With Children for me every week, and she'd give me the tapes whenever I came home for a visit. She kept that up for about 5 years, waaayyy longer than I ever expected her to or really, even wanted her to. Even though she hated the show, it helped her feel connected to her boy! They're still around somewhere, too, even though my VCR is long ago replaced by a DVD player and now a PVR. Amazing show that still holds strong today.
Favourite scene is when a cop shows up at Al's door, with Marcie and Steve who are dressed as a hooker and a sailor, respectivley. They'd been arrested for solicitation, told the cop it was just a married couple trying to spice up their sex life, and they brought the cop to the Bundy's house to verify the story. The cop asks Al if he knows these people, and Al says "Oh yeah sure. The hooker and the sailor who live next door."
