By then, there will be more then 6 month since the majority of people got their second doze, so, the government must be sure to have enough vaccine supply for boosters by January.
Pretty sure there will be enough doses for that and I figure they can ramp up the ability to push out shots, they did it 6 months earlier giving out second shots while also giving out first shots. Not to many rugrats out there compared to the whole population.

Well, so why is Canada is not offering the boosters yet like U.S. does? Or do you think Canadian government knows better then vaccine manufacturers?

Because it's a provincial thing. BC is doing it.
Also regulators gotta regulate. The power to regulate is a lot like a penis. There is no point if you don't whip it out and play with it.
There is a perverse incentive to be overtly cautious. 1000 people die of something and nobody gets the blame. Approve something that saves those 1000 lives but gives 2 people Kuru and it's the ones who approved it who get all the blame. Hell you save a 1000 people and 2 people who were due to die, die anyway and you still get the blame.
Speaking of incentives it isn't unreasonable to check the work of a manufacturer, even if they are honest, mistakes can be made and they are biased, which is why double blind studies and cake is prefered when doing all sorts of science.

But mainly we all know it's the stonecutters in league with major league baseball and the egg marketing board. Ask them.

Within the next 5 days or so they will offically offer the booster shots to anyone who's had the first 2 doses 6 months ago. Anyone who has had two AZ shots will be eligible this week to recieve an Mrna booster. Eligible vulnerable folks have already been receiving a booster. Is it ok to follow the science and start boosting everyone at the 6th month mark OR do you know more than the folks in charge

I feel like either level of government being too slow when acting on the science shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone in Ontario or Canada, aside from those who have been in a coma the last 19+ months.

NACI recommended a booster for some a month ago. Ontario is rolling out its plans on Monday.

Ford’s in a tough spot. If he acts with maximum expedience and decisiveness based on the science, he’s punished by Ford-nation’s Adamson BBQ crowd.

They may be the stupidest people in your family, workplace, or neighbourhoods that most of us have found ways to mostly cut out of our lives, but he needs that 12% locked-in to boost his waning popularity among the PC establishment and flip voters,

If he moves ‘too slow’ compared to what other provinces or countries do, he gets punished by the media (Ford’s Director of Comms’ live-in BF Lilley aside), and a sizeable chunk of the 84% of the people interested or somewhat interested in receiving the booster.

He’s not winning this crowd back by acting efficiently on boosters.
