Zeitgeist. Lol! hurr durr! If only our evil overlords had the wherewithal to silence these stalwart truthers! But alas, it is beyond the power of the the seamlessly organized and utterly evil lizard-Jew-spacemen-Illuminati-whatever powerlords who murdered thousands on 9/11 and kept their involvement under wraps. Sure, they were able to perpetuate the greatest single conspiracy ever, murder thousands of their own, defy even logic and physics to do so, but too bad for them a couple of clowns made a video on you tube with spooky music making the whole house of cards come tumbling down. If only they could have done something about it!

You may as well provide a list of those domestic terrorists as well as their acts that are far worse. I call bullshit on you. Start your list with a domestic terrorist who killed 2996 people, please.
Dubya, look how many American soldiers have died because of his senseless lies. He's responsible for all their deaths.

Hey I am from Muslim country where all the muslim hate US and and its allies. They always announce from mosque that kafir deserves to die. i am Hindu and come here to live peacefully. Most muslims always torture Hindus, Christians and Buddhists by raping them, killing them and robbing them.
What country is this again?

Saddam made it secular by force, and kept a lid on the extremists. It's true that the war unleashed the extremists but that still doesn't take any responsibility away from them.

.
Really? Because Iraq was a secular country before Bush invaded.

Actually, it does.

The large number of Iraqi deaths we are talking about was caused by the embargo and war, lead by the US, against Saddam's regime, policies and actions.

The cause of the war in question was the polices of the Bush administration and SH's administration, neither of whom were muslim extremists, or following muslim extremist views.

Whether you think the war was right or wrong, any review of the causes of that war will not show that it was caused by muslim extremism.

With respect to young muslims in Canada being attracted to extremism, it is alarming to see. There have been instances of the parents being largely secular muslims, professionals, educated, yet for some reason their son or sons are attracted to and ultimately converted to Islamic Extremism. Maybe it's because the young males never felt accepted in Canadian society and they want (like many youths) to belong to something, and to be a part of something larger where they are wanted. Or maybe it's because they view the Islamic Extremists as "tough guys" and they want to be tough guys too, so they get sucked up into the cult of Islamic Extremism. (Young North Americans can get their fix of "tough guy" from the American military, but what if you can't identify with the American military and you still think that tough = respect.)

I've seen more than a few reports in the media of Muslim parents not understanding how their children became consumed by Islamic Extremism. It's confusing to me as well because I figure that Canada is the best country in the world and it offers all of its citizens freedom, security, and the right liberty and why would anyone reject this kind of morality for the kind of morality which is literally the polar opposite.

Ok, if this is true, then I would have no problem carpet bombing that country and nuking it for good measure.

This thread is so politically incorrect.

Right! Who gives a shit that 1 in 15,000 of them are terrorists, and only 1 in 15 million Canadians is if you exclude them. Proves NOTHING.

Profiling at airports is WRONG ! Some day all those little 70 year old white ladies will turn and become terrorists. Search them NOW !

LOL

You guys still do not understand. We are lucky that 99% muslim are not terrorist but secular minded. It is the Islam that teaches them to be extreme. They always says Islam is the religion of peace but you will be the judge. It is in the Quran and Hadis that encourages people to kill or destroy kafir.

i bet you $1000 that there would be a bombing in toronto in your lifetime by jihadist. And terrorism and extremism are two different things. The more religious muslims, the more extreme they are.

Mahad Ali Dhore - rumoured to be a Canadian who attended York University. Blew himself up in a Mogadishu law court a few days ago. Exporting terrorists is Canada's shame.

In terms of those dead because of the sanctions and war, the US shares some blame but the big part of it belongs to Saddam who started the whole mess. All the sectarian violence that has happened since may not have happened if Saddam was still in power but the blame (in my mind at least) resides solely on the people who committed the acts themselves.

The number of dead Iraqis grows with time. It is up to 1 million now. 10 years from now the number will probably be 20 million. BTW: When will they blame the U.S. for the Bosian War and the Syrian Civil War?

I agree with you. But neither Sadam nor Bush were extremist muslims or following extremist muslim policies.

I was just trying to make the point, that no matter how you feel about that war, it was not caused by extremist muslims or islamic governance.

You don't feel that the US had a little something to do with the conflict and outcome in Iraq?

What do you think the correct number is?
