I agree with you. But neither Sadam nor Bush were extremist muslims or following extremist muslim policies.

I was just trying to make the point, that no matter how you feel about that war, it was not caused by extremist muslims or islamic governance.

But much of the violence since seems to fit that label and as I said, I place the blame solely on those doing the attacks.

I've seen around 100,000. The sad truth is that people die in wars, killed in combat, killed by Al Qaeda, killed by various other means, etc. It's not like the U.S. rounded up people and put them on trains to death camps to be gassed.

You guys still do not understand. We are lucky that 99% muslim are not terrorist but secular minded. It is the Islam that teaches them to be extreme. They always says Islam is the religion of peace but you will be the judge. It is in the Quran and Hadis that encourages people to kill or destroy kafir.

i bet you $1000 that there would be a bombing in toronto in your lifetime by jihadist. And terrorism and extremism are two different things. The more religious muslims, the more extreme they are.

The number of dead Iraqis grows with time. It is up to 1 million now. 10 years from now the number will probably be 20 million. BTW: When will they blame the U.S. for the Bosian War and the Syrian Civil War?

I don't have much concern about the overall way the US conducted the second iraq war (with a few unfortunate exceptions), I do have concerns about their rationalizations for it.

I was actually just curious what you thought the real number was. I have not had time to research it myself.
