I think that every time I go to Timmies or turn on the TV and see all the back bench members of parliament laughing their asses off under their turbans or grabbing all the government jobs they can get for themselves and their relatives.

There is a certain failure to read the room with the tone of immigrants these days. I see groups of young Indian males, always in groups, laughing and talking in their own language and kind of see it as a "fuck you" attitude. If India were to be swamped by a huge influx of White immigrants, expecting India to adjust and accept, it just wouldn't happen. India, being India, there would be blood shed.

I get it what you’re saying here, even I have witnessed some Indian guys being so arrogant and public nuisance in public places. Idk what to say about that. But In my case , I m so grateful to this country and the people for accommodating me here and giving me the opportunity to find the job and utilize my skills in Canadian job market and thereby increasing my living standard of life. Sadly and unfortunately, I seriously doubt if I m accessible to a higher standard of living condition if I was in India like I m here . Its because of this country and people, I am able to support my family and bring food to my table at the end of the day. And I will be grateful throughout my life for that. I agree that by misusing the Canadian immigration system, some ineligible and unqualified people has come here. But because of that 5 percentage, why should I take all the blame?

Thanks for that. I meet and deal with East Indian guys on a pretty regular basis at work. Most are good guys. As in polite and forthright and respectful.
It's just that when somebody, not you, posts and tells me to change with the times whether I like it or not, in most places that is fighting talk. Arrogant and a teeny bit disrespectful, if you like.

There is no take over. Its the natural order of things. White people are global minorities. 20% of the world are Indians. Canada was artificially kept white via racist immigration policies. As soon as that changed, and Canada developed, you are now having people travelling to Canada. Even still, Canada is still majority white. This is just globalization. The world will always globalize and continue to do so. Heck, its what brought your ancestors here.

Wow, this thread is absolutely bonkers.

I don’t think it can be denied that India has an open defecation problem. Being a vast and a poor country with 1.5 Bn folks- no wonder it hasn’t been able to resolve this issue. But it ain’t a “cultural” thing (as alluded into this discussion) but rather a “resource” issue. This can be confirmed with the decrease in numbers of open defecation as the country has prospered.

Indian folks who are residing here - I.e have managed to immigrate (first gen) or are actually born here (2nd gen onwards) would no concept of open defecation because they would never have had the need to do that.

I cannot confirm what happened in the video - maybe he was defecating, maybe he wasn’t; maybe he was facing some mental/physical issue , maybe he wasn’t. But I do know that there has been an uptick in planted negative stories against immigrants and a lot of them have been proven to be untrue. And even if a lot of them are true, Indians aren’t better or worse than any other set of people , I am sure you would find people from other ethnicities having those issues in more or a less similar %ages.

Hence in my opinion folks who are equating Indians= shitting in Canadian roads or beaches, you are you know what. Your “logic” may tell you are not, but by simply being ignorant and making blanket generalisations on an entire ethnicity - you are being a racist.

I understand Indians are flavour of the season (it was Asians few years ago during the Covid out-break). A few of us on this thread could have been more sensitive on this topic especially if they themselves might have faced/observed similarly unfair remarks (mostly online) due to the colour of your skin or different facial features but seems like empathy is not a quality many posses here.

Final parting thought- I am so happy that the overwhelming majority of the Canadian folks (one I meet irl) are so welcoming, rational and friendly. Wonder what is it about anonymity on the internet which makes some lose it entirely. Over and out.

But I don’t think it has to do anything with the government. It is solely based on the different perspectives of the people. The racism is something which can’t be neglected or avoided as long as civilization is there in the world. People will keep bringing racism in the society regardless of the race or culture. It doesn’t matter if you are white, black , brown or Asian, it will be always there and people will be calling different names to each other races. It is what it is. But tbh, it actually surprised me when this escort forum turned into a forum which is used to racially discriminate.
