In her religion, it is not a sin or problem to tell a lie to an infidel or perhaps she has mental health issues ? Did this young child have adult help in this fraud? She is a minor and could be charged under the young offenders act with mischief and other charges and any adult who helped her perpetrate this crime could be charged as well. Her actions are very counterproductive to those who are actual victims of hate crimes going forward. She said that an "Asian man" did it and if she did in fact concocted the story than is this a hate crime against Asians ?
