Here are an assortment of some of my favourite fabriclive mix albums. For those unfamiliar, Fabric is an iconic nightclub/venue in London that is very popular among DJs and fans alike. They started releasing commercially available mix albums on their own record label back in the early 2000s.
Spank Rock's mix is hands down my favourite of the bunch. It's mostly electro/house but has a smattering of other genres spread through the mix.
James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (of LCD Soundsystem fame) released a disco mix for fabriclive and it sllllllaps
Early dubstep from two of the genres early pioneers. It was the first dubstep record commercially available.
DJ Craze is the only person to ever win three DMC championships in a row. He is a god among scratch DJs. Plays mostly hip-hop in this mix
Another DMC champion, A-Trak was the youngest to earn the title at the ripe old age of 15. Plays electro house
Oneman is a real DJs DJ. Doesn't produce any of his own music, plays UK garage in this mix
Digital Soundboy System is B-traits (BC born DJ), Breakage and Shy FX. Their sound is a mix of UK garage, dubstep and ragga drum and bass
