Finally a morning to chill and listen to a batch of LP's I picked up a few weeks ago.
Currently spinning: God Bless America - Leontyne Price and the National Philharmonic. RCA 1982.
This one never had the plastic seal cut on it when I bought it.

You ever hear the story about why they're all laughing in this photo?
For anyone that hasn't, when they were getting ready for this picture to be taken, Duane Allman spotted a coke dealer he knew. He excused himself and ran over to him and quickly bought a baggie. He rushed back with his bag of coke clasped in his hands, smiling, and the photo was taken. So yeah, there's a bag of cocaine under his hands.
Yeah I read in the July 2024 issue of Classic Rock. Great story. What a life those guys lived during that period.
