Lotto Max: WTF?

Looks like a Win Wynne situation for the OLG.Katherine Wynne is pocketing the extra money.
they say lottery is for the poors for a reason. everyone gambles but riches go to stock market, or mutual fund. the rest of us, got owned by lotteries...
How come it's only going up slightly after each non winning draw?
Sales were 26 million yet jackpot went up a measly 5 million?
Didn't it always go up in increments of 10 million when a jack pot wasn't won?

Thank you for contacting OLG regarding LOTTO MAX.
LOTTO MAX jackpots do not grow in guaranteed $10 million dollar increments. If the Jackpot is not won, the next Jackpot is based on sales leading up to that draw.
If a $50 million Jackpot is won, any MAXMILLIONS that are not won are added to the next base LOTTO MAX jackpot. More information can be found in the LOTTO MAX FAQ section of our website, easily accessed at the link below:

I think people are realizing that the payoffs are shit. Hell, I won only $134 after getting 5 out of 7 numbers in a row!If you have been following the lottery for a while you will know that lotto max sales this year have been pretty awful compared to other years. When lotto max was first introduced it used to go up by only $5 million so it is nothing new, even the sales for the 2 $50 million jackpots we have had this year has been among the lowest on record (loto quebec reports the sales for each draw) so that's why they made the adjustment

Just goes to show you how desperate the Liberals are for cash, they have to steal from the lottery prize pools. But then again they're the government and they can change the rules whenever they want.

How can a political party use public funds? It's not to finance a public or social program. Winning an election doesn't mean that successful political party can spend what they want out of public funds?

Are you kidding? Last weeks sales for a measly 15,000,000 were 25,000,000. That is higher than average. Nobody won and the jackpot went up a whopping 5 million. I'm with you. I bought my last ticket this week. I won't be buying lottomax anymore. I have won $20 tops and play a lot. So I am done with this dud. I don't see the market for lottomax anyways once the new 649 kicks in.it's a joke. i have probably spent over 3000 on lotto max since they started in 2009. i won 20 dollars twice, and lots of useless free plays. enough is enough.
