"No interest in actual issues" is what the previous Democrat administration could be described as seeing as all their efforts went into preventing Trump from running for office , and hiding Biden's mental state from the public rather than dealing with real issues affecting people's lives.

I guess the chickens have come home to roost and it makes people like you uncomfortable accepting that inconvenient truth.
See?
Maybe if you didn't live in a fantasy world, there could be real progress on issues.

Whoa!
That Olympic level triple twisting, quadruple backflip seems to have launched you straight over the "wildfire prevention" debate and straight into the, "Biden is old and the Dems suck" MAGA echo chamber. lmao.

It does.
You established causality between a wildfire and DEI.
So when did DEI start?
Because we'd have to see if there were any fires at all before that date to see if you are right.
Oh there were fires before and they knew there will be risks of fires again...that's DEI to you. no idea how to prepare for the tragedy...defunding the FD was a good idea?
the DEI Fire Safety and prevention.
- Let take a few more millions from the program. How bad could it be.
-Blame the winds when it does happen.
😂 😂

Great. So there is no causality between DEI and wildfires.
Glad we cleared that up.
It is because there is a risk of fires that they develop contingency plans in the event it happens.
If you are claiming they had none, you need to present proof that they had none.
Actual fire experts have stated that fires such as this fueled by 100mph winds cannot be contained with fire hydrants or raking forest floors.
If you are claiming that these experts are wrong, then feel free to present your credentials in wildfire prevention and containment.

So called experts said there are risk of fires and with winds up to 100mph it could get bad pretty fast... yet DEI in charge thought..."let's cut some fire prevention and management some more...and let's get out of the country... 😂 😂 😂

They cut 2% of the overall budget on things that had nothing to do with fire prevention.
If you think otherwise feel free to provide any evidence you have.

Yes, I wanted you to find this article.
Did you read it? If you didn't:
The cuts, Crowley wrote in a memo from July 2024, resulted from eliminating 58 positions, adjusting sworn salary accounts, and removing one-time expenses.

"There were no reductions that were made that would have impacted the situation that we were dealing with over the last couple of days," she said. She also emphasized the additional funds the department was set to receive from the city's contract with the union.

Crowley said that in response to the $17.6 million cut, the department reduced non-essential responsibilities, but added that the reductions did limit their response to the fires "to a certain factor."

The fire department overspent by an estimated $66.6 million in the 2023-24 fiscal year, this year's budget shows, with unbudgeted contracts, unused sick time and overtime accounting for much of the overspending.
So as you can see in the quote, the fire department overspent in the previous fiscal year, in adhoc contracts, unused sick times, and overtimes, so they cut some of that to save money.
Even the fire chief in the article only admits that it limited their response "to a factor", which is neither here, nor there.
Neither the 2% budget cut, nor the race, sexual orientation and gender of the workforce, had any impact on fire prevention.

No I did not misrepresent what Bass said about the budgets nor claim that was said by Crowley.
Infact I made no mention of it.
I only reference what Crowley said.
2 things that you mentioned:
Fire prevention:
Crowley did not say that the 2% budget cut affected fire prevention initiatives.
You claimed it did.
She did not talk about it at all.
Cause of wildfires:
You attributed this to gender, sexual orientation and race.
Nothing in the article attributes the causes of the fires to the above.
Which is common sense. They are unrelated.

No.
Crowley said "7 million reduction severely limited the department's capacity to train for prepare for and respond to large scale emergencies"

Karen Bass was the one claiming there was no effect...LoL...of course she'd claim that...she approved the cut...she can't say she fucked up... 😂 😂 😂
Should I start questioning your reading comprehension now too?

This is about your claims.
You claimed that the 2% budget cut affected fire prevention.
Crowley is talking about response. Not prevention.
The funds that were cut did not have anything to do with fire prevention.
Also since California always has a wildfire risk, the LAFD already had well developed prevention and response plans.
So her statement that a mere 7M out of a total 820M budget, is going to adversely affect response is not believable.
It sounds political and she is just throwing Bass under the bus to save her skin.
You also claimed that race, gender and sexual orientation were the cause for wildfires.
Since experts have already weighed in on this and said that fires such as this cannot be contained, and also common sense, we can now ignore this as unrelated MAGA brain fart.

See?
Maybe if you didn't live in a fantasy world, there could be real progress on issues.
But fact is for the 4 previous years, there wasn't progress. Biden checked out mentally and who knows who was really running the country?

The Dems didn't help people while in office...they were too busy persecuting Trump. No wonder they lost the election. The majority of the voting public saw through their BS.

Now things are a mess and we see evidence of that neglect everywhere...LA wildfire preparedness is just one example.
