LOL, when you're buying ROM101 cards either from a reseller in TO, you want to make sure they're not fu*king you over. More info never hurt...and I grabbed that from a forum. LOL

Any reliable news or solution on getting a fix for DishNetwork or DirecTv?
Have been hearing a lot of rumours but have not tried anything yet. Don't want to pay and get burnt the next week.

Prefered, the only reliable way is to get a fake address in America, and have the card and equipement sent to you here in Canada. Then you make monthly payments to the American billing address and in effect you are dealing directly with the American companies. I think that there are some places in the GTA that can set you up with this service or if you have relatives in America, you could try that route. Currently nobody has another reliable way, and many are loosing money in different scam ventures. If a reliable alternative comes up to having a fake American address, I am sure that we would all know very soon after, as there is alot of guys who want the service restored.
Interestingly the Chinese on the internet are offering p2p streaming technology where the Pay TV signal from anywere, including America, where signals are taken live off the air, delayed a minute, and then streamed online. Check out

TV is good again in my house! First I got the N2 flash for my 'real' Pansat 2300 and that’s been working all week.
last night my DBV-s card finally arrived and I installed it in my computer and I'm using the My Theatre program... installed the S2emuN2 plugins "MDWrapper.dll, S2emu.dll, SoftCam.key" in My Theatre and what do you know it's decoding everything in Nagra-2... however no porn. But that’s being worked on. I really like this DVB card... I can record shows to the hard drive and copy them to DVD's! and the quality is all digital and fantastic!
The DVB card is worth the $100c I paid for it
