Hi, i searched around the forum, couldn't find anything on this particular topic...

Just wondering how much does location play into the decision to see someone, presumably for Incalls on clients end, or SPs for outcalls (I'm assuming higher consideration)?

Just as an example, to see someone new, interesting or on TDL, but 45 min one way vs someone close by, like 5-10 min away, you know them, but let's say, not a perfect fit, but like a good 80%.

I found myself numerous times cutting the decision down to just that, location, I'm like in and out....

Any thoughts appreciated.

Also a very important factor for me.

I need a precise plan in mind before I can pull the trigger and book a session. Location dictates if and when I can see someone.

Too far east or west - the lady needs to have a hell of a reputation, cause it likely means I need to take some time off, or plan something on weekends.

I prefer central locations, but I know it's not everyone's preference cuz parking.

Location is HUGE for me if I’m doing incall. I NEVER go out east or Gatineau. I’ll only venture out to Kanata, airport or downtown if I need to go there or am already there otherwise it’s incall here in Bells Corners or I’ll drive to Barrhaven/Merivale and that’s it.

Very important factor. I wish more LL ads mentioned location. Even something as general as "west" or "downtown". I typically won't even reach out if there is no indication in the ad.
Agree! Often, for me, location is the deciding factor. It shouldn't be hard to mention in your ad, "west end, near such-and-such an intersection". That would at least be something to go on.

A lot of them have the general location in the map. Typically the area, not always precise.

I am the opposite of most here, as I am in the East end, well Sandy Hill, so downtown is a quick trip, but most ladies seem to be West or South of me. Not much in my area. So yes location is key, but I'm not in the best location for hobbying. I generally don't go West of downtown if I can help it lol

Yeah, they do, but as mentioned not precise, as in some intentionally put an off position on the map, so as to not reveal even the general area... or old info, as in ottawa on map, but they are gatineau; so not necessarily true, as I encountered few times...

Most pros, established SPs (mostly French, in my experience) tend to at least send an auto text when you contact them, rates, services and such, including area/intersection. I prefer that gets alot out of the way immediately...

Wow, ok so it's not just me, this obviously ties into time management/hours spent....

I'm in Gatineau, I guess I could have opened with that, but downtown, then south end doesn't bother me; east and west is a trek now. Nevermind barrhaven. Despite popular belief, it's kinda all the same distance wise, even closer to ottawa, than ottawa in many cases. And I'm ok with parking downtown and bridges, you get used to it and adjust.

Location is extremely important. I strictly stay within the east end. If I go further, let's say closer to downtown, it's because I really find it worth my time.

I'm already paying a pretty penny, not going to mission across this god forsaken permanent traffic-jammed town.

Imagine you're in Scarborough and really wanted to see someone in Mississauga? Ottawa isn't so bad then haha

As a born-and-raised Ottawan who's been in Toronto for a long time now, I really do smile at the discussions here about traffic and how far parts of the city are from each other.

It's all perspective, I know, and the times I've been back home I've certainly seen that traffic in Ottawa is worse than it was when I was a kid. But Ottawa doesn't know from truly bad traffic.

Lived in TO, one of the reasons why I moved from there, I assure you. It is a joke in Ottawa in comparison.

But ultimately it's about getting services, and getting there quickly, and not having to drive, battle traffic and construction for an hour or two...

And no, I would never drive from Scarborough to mississauga, even if the SP is the greatest in the world... unless I happen to be there or have to go there...

Funny pic above :) but it makes my point on a local level, Gatineau is closer to Ottawa than Ottawa... ppl have a mental block with the bridges, river, and the province, but logistically I'm so efficient getting around...

It's funny how this evolved into a dick measuring contest. "Ottawa? Heh...You haven't experienced Toronto traffic!". By that logic, people from Los Angeles can laugh at you for crying about Toronto traffic. And then people from New York can laugh at them.

At the end of the day, yes, Ottawa keeps getting worse. I'm not saying it's the end of the world. I just am not personally willing to drive 45 minutes to an hour to meet an SP/MA. Is it that serious?

I’ve often noticed several tremendous highly reputable and well reviewed ladies focus on downtown - touring seems the typical commonality. Understandable for the type of incall but parking often becomes tricky and requires strategy. Monique Matheson a notable exception but not heart of downtown. So ultimately my loss
