Canadians want an election and after the USA election and Christmas the pressure will grow. I think spring it will happen.
I'd hold off on your condolences for now. I agree it doesn't look good but until that fat lady sings your favorite song, I'd be very very careful because payback will be harsh and swift and so enjoyable.
Neither the Bloc or the NDP want an election and neither want to hand Pee Pee a majority anytime to soon so I wouldn't hold my breath on getting an early election.
I wish this were the case but I believe if an election were held today we would be looking up at a dribble of piss as our next PM with a substantial majority.

He has had 9 years at the helm. At least when he inherited a Canadian Economy still in a recession, and then created more jobs than the previous regime, had to weather the Covid-19 Pandemic, and then the Global Inflation to make Canada the G7 nation with one of the lowest inflation rates and The Bank of Canada to lower the interest rates faster than many other nations. Obviously, Pee Pee will not mention that and only "Axe The Facts"!!

From the liberal view this minority government has put in place a lot of good legislation, dealt capably through the pandemic and is running relatively scandal free.
Inflation is down, unemployment not bad and the foreign worker/international student issue has been dealt with.
Trudeau did poorly on with the temporary workers/immigration issue but corrected policy. Housing is provincial, as is health care, those are major issues but not his jurisdiction. The two big failures are that the divide between rich and poor is still growing and JT's support of Israel has alienated some supporters.
I wonder if he froze their bank accounts yet. Unless he's waiting for one of them to have a bouncy castle in their yard.
