This time I don't have to say it!

jcpro, butler, Johnlarue, whoever else I'm missing

At least you can bet when I post information on Junior forthcoming mistakes it will be from legitimate sources.

And I have no doubt it will be easy to find in the coming days.

And when your standard of living goes down as a result of increased costs and the hobby fund grows smaller I'm sure you will decry the fact that Munclair didn't get in.

The only solace I take from this is in 4 years we will elect a Conservative gov't on Ontario. And hopefully one year later a matching one in Ottawa.

I disagree. He'll just keep blaming long retired Harper for junior's fuck ups. Just like they keep blaming Mike Harris in Ontario.

Just like they keep blaming Mike Harris in Ontario.
He did unquestionable damage, stepped down when he saw inevitable defeat, and then had his party voted out in a landslide (2003) election that saw the PC's lose seats in ridings they'd held for decades. Clearly, people had had enough.

So does that mean you're transferring your Canadian guns to "Mike in Canmore"?
Today I bought my first scary black gun along with half a dozen LR-15 mags.

Hopefully, I'll be grandfathered when Trudeau decides to make it prohibited.

Or maybe, if there's a buyback, I can get my all money back even after I've worn out the barrel with a case of surplus ammo.

Want to place any bets?

If it wasn't all so serious, I would look forward to the oceans of disappointment.
They're not going to bring back the long-gun registry. They're simply going to reclassify all semis to prohibited. No law needs to be passed for that.

So much damage that the people rewarded him with a second majority. Whatever... I've been voting since Bill Davis in Canada. You win some, other times you don't. The sky has not fallen, the world did not end. Even when Joe Who miscounted.

Yes, and in 2003, his party (with Eves as head) was voted out convincingly. What part of my post did you not understand? I even referenced the year for you.

And repeal C-42, sign the UN Arms Trade Treaty, implement the marking scheme, gut the firearms advisory and stack the deck with Antis...Chretien may be gone, but the LPC still want to treat gun owners like criminals.

Is that how we ended up with the Liberals at Queen's Park?

Even I couldn't vote for Harper anymore, even though I supported his gun policy. But I didn't expect NDP support to crash and give the Liberals a majority. A minority would have been a test for Trudeau and be cautious. Now, I'm afraid that they're going to go apeshit with an idealistic (and not pragmatic) agenda.

I did not vote for a CPC candidate, either. C-24 did it for me. I wasted my vote on a fringe candidate.

Harper was clearly playing to his base when he abolished the long gun registry. In the process he alienated the vast majority who don't support gun ownership. His base would have still voted for him even if he had not abolished the gun registry. So, Harper gained nothing and lost the support on non-gun owners.
ding ding, same with the niqab issue, same with the crule religious and cultural practices hotline, same with c36. C's are best qualified to run the economy but keep shooting themselves in the foot with social issues they should have stayed out of. Now we can just only hope we don't get a Kathleen Wynn style Canada... But it seems that's what many want judging by her campaign and the results in Ontario.

Are you dunce? PC's elected 1995, re-elected 1999, and then voted out 2003. It's of no consequence whether Harris was still Premier or not; his party and policies he enacted were clearly rejected in the '03 election.
