As long as my satellite doesn't get zapped tonight, I'll probably watch the fight. I'm picking Lewis in 4. Any other guesses or is there not enough interest?

Lewis KO 2.

If Vitali's foot work and inability to deal with combinations is anything like Wladimir's ( see Corrie Sanders fight) Vitali is in for a short night. He's just far too robotic and slow to deal with Lennox.

Although, if Vitali Lands clean he can walk away with the WBC championship. If there's one thing Vitali can do it's throw.

PS Can I come over and watch the fight with you please?

I hope Lewis pounds this guy good, and I think he will.
Klitstschko's brother got pounded recently, and after the fight, Vitali was a total dickhead *******, challenging the guy who just beat the shit out of his brother.
Tonight this tough guy gets a chance to show how tough he really is.
32-1 with 31 KOs but who has he beaten.
Always possible to pull a Rahman or McCall and land one lucky shot, so you never know.

Vitali is in Trouble

Vitali doesn't move his head and just holds his arms out for defense. No knee bend either. Lewis should eat him up. Vitali's only shot is to rock Lewis with a lucky bomb early. Lewis does look outta shape however, has been inactive for over a year. This at least gives Vitali a glimmer of hope.

My guess...Lewis in 3, KO.

I like Klitschko tonight. He is a lot better than people are giving him credit for. Vitali is big, strong, quick, and with the exception of the Byrd fight when he quit due to injury, undefeated. Klitschko has fought some hard hitters with steel chins (Herbie Hide who has sledgehammers as hands, and Larry Donald who you could hit with a bag of bricks and wouldn't blink).

Klitschko in 7, KO.

Lewis will at least have an excuse tonight if he loses, since he was training for Kirk Johnson for the past few months, not Klitschko.

Larry Donald...hahahaha. When I first saw that guy he looked to have good hands and be quite the mover. Never developed though.

Lennox was lucky to escape.

I got to give credit to Vitali. He showed balls at coming right at Lennox and landing the harder punches. Lennox looked like he was in lousy shape and was on his way to losing a UD.

Hopefully there will be a rematch and Vitali will get his revenge. Lennox is pretty arrogant and made himself look like an ******* in the post fight interview with Larry Merchant. Where as Vitali came across as a bright guy who was genuinely upset that the fight was stopped.

Too true, Rusty. Too bad about the cuts -- Lennox could have seriously paid for his lack of training and lackadaisical approach...

But a rematch will be a long time down the road while that mincemeat of a face heals...

Too bad it was only 6 rounds cause there was still lots of action in store. I don't think those guys like eachother, but then, how could anyone like someone as pompous as Lewis. I agree he looked like real jerk post-fight interview although some of his bluster could be attributed to a certain ultra-confidant persona he takes on, as many boxers do. It's just that his is so irritating.

Bring on the rematch. Stitch him up with barbed wire and let him go.

Lennox had Vitali's eye gashed open deep. there was a cut below and above his eye, and a deep one in Vitali's mouth as well. If that fight went forward, Vitali's eye would have been closed. What chance would he have if he could see the punches coming?

lennox was in the worst shape of his career, even worst than South Africa. he should either train hard or retire.

Call be mis-informed or whatever, but I didn't know there was even a fight. Damn boxing world getting boring nowaday. They can really use another coming of "Mike Tyson" or better yet, an Ali clone.

Poor George Foreman was showing signs of punch-drunkeness last night. He actually told Jim Lampley that, even in his prime, he couldn't have handled Lennox Lewis. Sure, George. You knocked out Joe Frazier in two rounds and you couldn't handle a bum like Lewis...

Lewis would have been unranked when Foreman was in his prime. Of course, very few 7 year olds have been ranked heavyweights;-)

I heard that Foreman wants to fight again!
hahahaha.. George "The Grill" Foreman

Lennox looked horrible!
I think if Vitali was'nt cut he would have taken the fight. He was landing some solid blows,Lennox look tired and dizzy

Other than the cuts Vitali sustained he looked in good shape and did'nt seem to be affected from Lennox's punches.Would have been nice to see Vitali knock him out.

I agree.......Lennox was a pompus ass in the post fight interview.

Is there still time for prediction?

I predict Lewis, by TKO, in the sixth.

My respect for Lewis droped ten fold last night. Every boxer has a kind of "bravado" when discussing his talent, but Lewis is completely clueless. He was getting his ass handed to him and was lucky to get out of the fight standing. He was such an ASS.

My respect for Klitschko jumped ten fold last night. He came in with no fear of Lennox and showed no fear throughout the fight.

Lewis will not fight Klitschko again. He knows he can lose and Lewis will not give him another chance. At the end of the fight, oyu could hear Vitali asking for a rematch, and Lewis was saying "ya, ya". Vitali yells "Promise me, say it to the camera!" Lewis sees the camera, then turns around and walks away. Lewis is scared.

The excuses that Lennox was out of shape and ill-prepard are bullshit. He said that after Oliver McCall and Hassim Rachman. Any true professional wouldn't let that happen a 3rd time. Well Lewis finally won, the same way he lost his two fights.....With a lucky punch.
