I don't understand why some guys are scared of shaving their balls. It is the easiest part to shave. I have never had a single nick on my balls, but I have at least one every time I shave other parts.
Colour me strange, but I enjoy the sensation of a razor on the scrotum when shaving as long as there's enough warm water and soap/gel. Cannot say the same for the taint or around the anus, which are nightmares to shave no matter how much care I put in.

Tried shaving my actual buttocks with a razor last time as well and I don't think I'll do that again. Left it quite raw and itchy even though I applied cream after. I tried to minimize the number of strokes, too. Haven't had great luck with a foil shaver but I don't think I can go any further than that on the bum.

Always keep my nuts shaved. Ladies don't want to lick hairy balls just like I don't want to lick hairy muff.

bigbangupper, Having a new blade & lots of cream really helps to make the task much more enjoyable!
Shaving your ass was an experience that just wasn't comfortable but you tried. If the end result winds up to be uncomfortable then it's not going to be something you'd want to try again!
Thanks for posting

Forgedboutit!

I razor nick to the nadsack is painful as hell that can get easily infected. Not gonna happen, deal with it.

When I was a feckless teenager I went through a hazing ritual. Absorbine Jr was applied to the nadsack, I was one of only two guys that didn't pass out. It was fucking painful!
Insidious Von that sounds really painful, no wonder your staying clear of having anything to do with shaving your balls! Absorbing Jr was a nasty choice, no wonder you are apprehensive of ever shaving again!

Just used Nair yesterday. Didn't apply to cock or balls just in that area. Also did my ass. Key is not to rub it in, just pat it on and don't leave too long. 3-5 mins. Applied baby powder couple times after. Pretty pleased with results and no discomfort or itch.....yet anyways.

Huh... I keep everything maintained and trimmed pretty short but I don't shave as it sounds most do. I wonder what the ladies views are on this - Is it seen as only doing half the job? I don't think I'd be up for shaving though. Sounds like it would be itchy as hell and I'm sure I'd have a nightmare with ingrown hairs. Actually I'd be curious to hear from the ladies what percentage of guys are shaved, trimmed, or full on Austin Powers.
DON'T YOU DARE change what you do!

Period. EOD. Nothing else needed here. Moving on.

Sounds like quite the solution to shaving toptech, I'm sure a lot of members will be very interested in what you have found for an alternative to using a razor!
Sounds like a better way to manscape!

I found this cream which states it is more suited for "the pubic region"

I'm sure there must be more brands suited for the task at hand!
Veet, Best for: The pubic region
Alright, alright — this product is specifically made for women. But, it might be used by men just as frequently for one simple reason: it works great in the pubic region. Since it’s made for sensitive skin, it’s safe to use on a woman’s bikini line — which made men want to try it out in their nether regions as well. And the result? Thanks to a formula enriched with vitamin E and aloe vera, it will keep the genital area hair-free for weeks.

For the times where I've left it on too long, the burn is felt immediately. It's like a sunburn type feeling (or like a corrosive burn). So you are probably good. I think the directions say don't rub it in.

I get waxed

Totally gets rid of hair and makes skin softer and more sensitive

Quite strange to have a civy wax your balls and shaft a minute after you just met

You even have to grab your penis and stretch out for her to wax, if you have an erection that makes it easier for her but not all waxers are cool with it. I found a quality waxer who does not mind and I always see her

I generally go with waxing, but if shaving is needed I do it in the shower. Never had a problem with cuts or nicks. (don't want to jinx myself now)

Sorry to dig up an oldish thread but I have a question for the guys that use a razor....

I use the clippers for everything but trimming the boys I set the clippers real close and have "caught" myself a couple times in the past. So I've been trying a razor for the last month or so. Definitely easier and faster with less chance of injury, but there is the razor rash. Seems there is no perfect solution here. I've used cream which has helped but I'm asking the guys who do shave, does the razor rash go away after your skin get used to it or is this a constant issue?
