If Connolly is injured long term then I would have to.Can I ask you Ironhead ... After preseason ie Reimer having a bad camp and Connolly already hurt ... Is your optimism changed ... I know

We need from our goaltending " stand on your head type of performances " in order to make it in the playoffs .. Being good isn't going to cut it ...

Since I've never heard on Steckel, Stekcle, Stelkce, or whatever so I'll move on.
Mike Zigomanis was sensational on face-offs & they sent him to the Marlies last year. Why didn't they simply keep Zigomanis, who does have some offensive skill also, and keep the 4th rounder & the $$?He is a face off specialist ... That is good cause he brings no offense to this team ... Face-offs was a weak part of this team last year and so good pick up and didn't cost much and if we are out of the playoff race we can trade him at the deadline

I believe he'll miss tomorrow for sure, but could be eligible to be off and play Saturday. Guys who has been concussed are always a gamble. That's why I was hesitant about the Leafs going big on Richards as he can easily be a hit away from becoming a full time commentator.

Sometimes players just need to be given a chance or a change of scenery. Again, it's only 1 game so I'm not going to go crazy...but this is a case where a player knows what he's brought in to do and is perhaps being trusted with a bit more responsibility and is thriving on it.
