@Ironhead:

- I am not Leafs hater, I will defend the Buds from unfair posts, but I do need to voice my disappointment at certain individual and some aspect of their "behavior".

- I think I am fair to say: if he refused to drop the gloves, then stop taking cheap shot at Petrovic when he engaged TWO players at the same time. Have you seen McLaren's "famous" fight in Ottawa: clean and manly, other guy down, walk away, done.

If you love the Leafs, then do you love the stuffs that make them smaller in your eyes too?

Since the Art Ross Trophy started in 1947, there has NEVER been any Leaf to win it. It's a fact:
Maybe it wasn't called the Art Ross but there were scoring champions before 1947. Did you know at one time they only awarded no more than one assist per goal?

Ok. I hate the leafs, and the Habs too for that matter. Point I'm trying to make is if you are going to play the game with an "edge" then you have to drop the gloves the odd time and fight the scraps that you start. Heck even Ovie on the Caps has never been afraid to fight when challenged and I'm sure he's not paid to fight, even Crosby has dropped the gloves when he's lost his cool and he's the biggest baby in the league. So if the leagues two best players are willing to fight the odd time why can't Kadri? And yes my comment about Kadri getting his head "kicked in" was a little over the top. If you are going to play a certain style of hockey you have to back it up with your fists at some point. Kessel doesn't shoot his mouth off on the ice or take pot shots at guys so of course he's not going to have guys chasing him around looking to scrap but guys like Kadri and Subban are going to learn the hard way someday. You can't always have your teammates fight your battles for you.

I don't think any player in the league complains about the refs more than Crosby. He's always beaking off at them about something, I've seen a few games where he's picked up unsportsmanlike conduct penalties because he wouldn't stop crying about some non call. I think he got lessons from his boss Mario, he was famous for bitching about all the holding and interference he had to put up with, like he expected to rag the puck all he wanted and no one should have the right to try and take it away from him.

Care to document, back up these claims with statistics, evidence?

check out his penalty stats for his career. Just look at the totals for the seasons he wasnt hurt. Anywhere from 70 to 100 plus minutes in the box.

And how many of thoe penalty minutes are for unsportsmanlike conduct? How many for whining? How many for beaking? How many for crying?

I know some of you guys think SOG's are useless but is it true that the Leafs had zero SOG in the 2nd period? Anyway, bring on the playoffs.

The question was "Who was the last Leaf to win the Scoring championship?"
that would be Gordie Drillon, in 1938
Do the Leafs currently have anybody who is a potential scoring champion in the foreseeable future? I don't think so. I think Kessel and Kadri can be top ten but number one doesn't seem likely.

With Ottawa's loss tonight, Toronto will be playing either Boston or Montreal in the playoff. Which would I prefer as a Leafs fan?
It doesn't matter, with the way they were playing in the last few games - being outshot by a zillion to 1 and relying on the much improved (though inconsistent) goaltending of Reimer and some lucky bounces to squeeze in enough wins to qualify, they won't get through Round 1 regardless of their opponents.
If I were the Bruins, I would lose tomorrow's contest against Ottawa to remain in 4th and gain the distinct advantage of playing against their favorite opponent whom they had owned in recent history.
