Biden has made it crystal clear that he has no intention of abandoning her for now. Yes she has had issues with her staff with resignations etc. But the previous President, someone called I think it is Donny Boy and he had a revolving door in that Whitehouse. More staff were in and out in that short period of time than any other POTUS in living memory. But his base consisting of mainly cult followers praised him for it, even though those staff left with real bad blood!!
This whole thread is pretty comical, particularly as regards to KH and staff departures. I believe there have been 7 unlike the stable genius who only hire the best people. And the reference below is only to cabinet positions not the myriad of staff below that rank who resigned or were fired or were indicted.

Many top aides who succeeded original staff have also left. About half—11—of Trump’s original cabinet and cabinet-level staff have left or announced their departure, compared to just two each for both Obama and Bush. .

I don't think Biden will abandon her. It's a pretty drastic move and it will set off its own controversies.
On her own, though, the push to make her a villain in the public eye is going to be pretty strong.
She didn't do well enough to graduate to the upper tier of "Hillary-in-waiting" though.
Pelosi still gets that by being in power and AOC is the long-term prospect being groomed for that role of Fetish-Hate-Symbol.
Harris will get the Al Gore/Kerry level of attack, which is still super damaging, but not at the same tier.

I'm including the stories that came out of her campaign and how it was a bit of a shambles at the end.
I agree it is really minor stuff, but it is the kind of kernel of truth you can build a whole Narrative about.
The Wurlitzer doesn't need reality - just the Narrative.

Fair assessment, she'll likely just wallow in the Pence, nobody cares, shadow most VP's reside in.
Biden got past that, but likely only because there wasn't a clearer choice, and it did take him quite a bit of time to make it as candidate.

I agree with both the assessments. We know that from the word go since she was nominated as the VP, there were going to be constant attacks on her by Fox and the right wing media.
It all started with her unique laughs and then the blame especially with the border policy / humanitarian crisis etc that was all out meant to be degrading to her. It has been precisely summed up in this link:

The Disproportionate Criticism of Kamala Harris

You people are hilarious! Kamala never recovered from the ass whooping she got from Tulsi Gabbard who exposed her for what she was simply based on her record. Harris is an unserious moron with approval numbers under 30% who got propelled to the ticket by even bigger moron who decided that the pigment and the reproductive organs are qualifications for the second highest office in the land.

I would have selected Amy Klobuchar (although she had some staff issues as well) for VP in 2020. (Sorry to hear she is currently fighting breast cancer.)

I cant help but think that there is at least an element ox sexism and racism in the criticism of KH which has been blown way out of proportion..
