I'm watching them all on Crave right now. Unfortunately it starts at season 6. I'm currently on season 9. I have to be honest, some parts of this show are really bad and dumb. It's a bit a a paradox for me, I love it but also think it's stupid sometimes. I didn't realize how old it was though. Like season 6 was in 1996. I'm watching this going "Jesus, I was 22 when this aired??? lol". The nostalgia of the how is so awesome though. Like I might watch 3 episodes in a row, and loooove the intro song and still love every time I hear this:

I don't have CRAVE or Netflix, but regular cable has reruns of Law and Order SVU from season 1 onwards, that I watch every day .
Nostalgic to see technology back then ( no Iphones, just flip phones) and unknown guest stars that have gone onto becoming household name actors today.
I know...lol. A whole bunch of the Sopranos cast all had parts. I've seen LA SVU a bunch of times hear there, but I'm not that into most of them because I think Ice-T is a brutal actor.

I've always enjoyed all of the L&O series but sometimes too much is over kill. They tried with the original Criminal Intent to format it similar to L&O series but that didn't pan out too well. And now they're trying to format it in TO where it will be different since Canadian laws aren't the same as in the US. I may watch to see how it is but uncertain if it will be any good except for riding the L&O series coat tails.

As much as I loved the original Law & Order, I soon realized that it was the famous guest actor in any particulate episode who was almost always the "perp". Kind of took the mystery out of it...
Maybe they'll do an episode on the TTC subway and a Charles Bronson look a like cleans up the mess.
Every episode should end with the arrested individual being released before the cops even finish the paperwork. You know, to reflect reality of Toronto.
New episodes are now on our regular channels now that their strike is over.

They could do a whole season based on the Bruce McArthur serial killer…the first several episodes could revolve around the Toronto police screwing it up
CSI shows aren't realistic at all , crime lab people do not carry guns and make arrests
