I downloaded/bought from Amazon the complete original Law and Order series that ran from 1990 through 2010, and then volumes 1 thru 17 of L&O:SVU.
Although I had seen them all when originally broadcast, they all felt new to me again, and I have to say they brought me through the "writers and actors strike" new TV drought beautifully.
I'm currently up to Season 7 of L&O:SVU...
This will be the ring tone for my parole officer... if I ever get assigned one lol
I don't have CRAVE or Netflix, but regular cable has reruns of Law and Order SVU from season 1 onwards, that I watch every day .I'm watching them all on Crave right now. Unfortunately it starts at season 6. I'm currently on season 9. I have to be honest, some parts of this show are really bad and dumb. It's a bit a a paradox for me, I love it but also think it's stupid sometimes. I didn't realize how old it was though. Like season 6 was in 1996. I'm watching this going "Jesus, I was 22 when this aired??? lol". The nostalgia of the how is so awesome though. Like I might watch 3 episodes in a row, and loooove the intro song and still love every time I hear this:

Nostalgic to see technology back then ( no Iphones, just flip phones) and unknown guest stars that have gone onto becoming household name actors today.
Yeah, he's pretty bad.I know...lol. A whole bunch of the Sopranos cast all hard parts. I've seen LA SVU a bunch of times hear there, but I'm not that into most of them because I think Ice-T is a brutal actor.
As much as I loved the original Law & Order, I soon realized that it was the famous guest actor in any particulate episode who was almost always the "perp". Kind of took the mystery out of it...I'm watching them all on Crave right now. Unfortunately it starts at season 6. I'm currently on season 9. They could do a whole season based on the Bruce McArthur serial killer…the first several episodes could revolve around the Toronto police screwing it up8 gay men have gone missing and presumed dead.
Hero cop has a theory they were abducted and murdered by another gay man. So, he goes undercover to various gay bathhouses where he encounters the real murderer.
to be continued.........................................
CSI shows aren't realistic at all , crime lab people do not carry guns and make arrestsI still prefer CSI over L&O.
Could be a what if scenario based on this: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toro...rged-kidnapping-ontario-crypto-king-1.6907548Title of first episode is "The Key to the Castle".
Summary: A crypto currency kingpin is found dead. The team tries to find where the missing crypto coins have disappeared to.
Doesn't sound like any real Toronto case it's based on.
