Episode was not much better than the previous 2, I fell asleep again, that's it it's off my watch list!

No one better than Jerry Orbach in the original L and O!!!!

Briscoe definitely had the best opening scene "discovery of victim" wisecracks...

IMHO Lenny Briscoe (Orbach) and Phil Ceretta (Paul Sorvino) were irreplaceable. I had no interest in L and O without them.

During filming, the Director, Producer and DOP (director of photography) crowd around the high resolution video monitors and discus the shot and all of its visual components.
Then about 5 seconds of thought is given to the acting performances. In Toronto, the camera team is boss and the acting is terrible in general. Been this way for about 25 years.

Law and Order T.O. Ci , season 2 episode 1:

Pretty good episode, (I didn't fall asleep!) based on the swarming by 4 teenage girls and killing of the homeless dude from a couple years ago. Hopefully subsequent episodes are just as good.
