I have a friend who is Canadian Japanese.

She refers to herself as Oriental. I don't see how this is a derogatory term.

BTW, she visited Japan once (trip back to the motherland) and reported that "The Japanese really treated me like shit because I don't speak Japanese". Go figure

I have a friend who reported the same thing.. Her relatives there wouldn't let her go out alone because of it..

I think Latino women have it all. Looks, attitude, sensuality, class. Oriental women are hot, but a bit too reserved. I like Indonesian women as well... they look like latin women.. a bit more demure though.

I have a Japanese friend who went through the same experience. She explained Japanese are a very closed racist society and treated her that way because she was viewed as not being 'pure enough Japanese' by their standards in spite of have both Japanese parents. She said Eurasians of mixed ancestry are treated far worse there.

Neither Latina nor Oriental give me a boner. Same as the black and Arab/Persian ones.

WRT Japanese in Japan being racist to their breathen born overseas. That's in their blood and they will pay those who were born in Latin America to leave and never come back.

South Korea and China are not much different when it comes to racial discrimination against their breathen born overseas (anybody remember the meaning of "bananas"?), albeit they haven't gone down this low blow like the Japanese yet. :rolleyes:

Facially I prefer latina women, especially mixed with some european ancestry. Asian women are nice but only if they have a really fit attractive body. If they're asian, and just a little overweight or short, it's too much of a turn off.

I thought israelis were considered middle eastern and russians were eastern european.

As a asian guy myself I prefer asian over oriental.

I find oriental is used more to refer to items/food eg oriental noodles, oriental rug.

Yes it's true, and the light skinned filipinos think they're so much better than the dark skinned ones. I kinda got a kick out of the when I was there. When it comes to filipinas i tend to prefer the dark skinned ones but it's a sin for any asian women to be even slightly over weight. If they want to be attractive to men, which is something that should be of the highest priority to them, they should do everything in their power not to be even slightly overweight.
