And apple cider. I use an Acer. I dumped a 1/2 cup of cider into the keybd a year ago... It got kinda sticky for a bit, but still works fine!
Just as long as it wasn't "Dickens Cider".......I really like my dickens cider but it can get costly......

Stay away from Acer.
I've had excellent luck with them .... to me they are the best value around. Always buy from the Source (on sale) and get their extended warranty. Source warranty will cover the battery for 3 years (others don't), guaranteed to recover warranty cost even if nothing else breaks as laptop batteries never last 3 years. If something else breaks, you're laughing.

make sure the HDD is at least 300 GB. Porn nowadays is abundant and extremely available. Last thing you need is to run out of space 'cause you've got too much porn.

Also make sure that there is display brightness control somewhere on the keyboard.. I hate having one hand on my rocket while watching my porn and having to go to control panel, displays, settings, etc, etc. while I could just be fumbling for a single button on the keyboard to prevent me from going blind 'cause the screen is too bright with all the lights turned off.

While you're at it, make sure the display is easily wipeable with no exposed vents near the hinges. You'd think the dudes designing the laptops nowadays would understand that high quality porn results in extremely explosive bursts of happiness. This happiness can get away pretty quick and land in the one place thats going to turn your brand new laptop into a paperweight pretty damn quick.

Oh and make sure you buy the extended warranty, sometimes in the moment of achieving happiness I tend to zone out and have been known to drop things, and if your new shiny laptop should fall victim to Newton you'll need to replace it quick no questions asked.

Hp

I have a six months old HP laptop 14.1 " ,with 160 GB hard drive And most important 4 GB of RAM I paid $ 1400.00 six months ago and it is still under waranty,i do a lot of traveling so it was kinda bulky for me,but it is halfway betwin the full size and small size 8.9",is what i use now for traveling, and i have a 19"desktop at home.Other best features that this machine has are Fingerprint reader for log in and all of you paswords can be replaced by swiping your finger, yes it could be the midle one lol, your choice.I am aSKING $1200,but i will consider close resonable ofers, and again you want both desktop and laptop you wont find better combo. If you are serius buyer let me know with the details to contact you.I i am from kw area, but can meet half way if you prefer that. And another bonus you will get is a tons of premium software to convert and watch any media files .It comes with the HP media center and the remote control, plus 14 cell baterry that will give you about 8 hours of use without a charge, and if you can aford another $20 get the pover inverter at source and you are in bussiness.
Again pm only if you are sereius,i wont give it away,so be resonable and i will be to.

Best regards all Lover

I have an Acer 15" and it's worked fine for me. But next time I won't get the "crystal" display option, which is all shiny and attractive but makes the screen very difficult to see in natural lighting conditions as it becomes too reflective.

I only use my laptop sporadically so I'd probably go for a smaller and quicker version at the expense of large display and gizmos.

Looks like a similar model is at Best Buy for $630 (then discount it by $20 with the web site coupon). Model # G60-348CA.

Differences:

* 4 Gig DDR2
* Video up to 2 Gig
* Vista Home Premium (not too sure what the difference is)
* Warranty - Parts/Labour for one year (future shop it states limited - again, unknown if that makes a big difference...)
