LOLOLOL!

Now any legit trial attorney would do a solid and meritorious lawsuit on a contingency fee with no $$$$$ paid in advance by the client. So what do we have here???

Do you remember when a certain Mandrill predicted that KR would fund-raise a chunk of money to pay a pet GOP shyster. The shyster would launch nuisance lawsuits against CNN, NYT and other "leftie" targets. Shyster would settle quickly for a minimal payoff from the defendants and demand that the settlement be kept confidential. And then he would announce a huge victory, hinting that $$$ billions had been paid out to him. In fact, the payout will probably be about $50,000. Rittenhouse will get a few thousand $$$$. The shyster will get a few thousand from the small settlement. And the shyster would also get the $$$ half-million or so raised to "fund" the lawsuit.

LOL - that's how it's done in GOP Shyster-land, folks!!!

Well, not Lin Wood this time. Albert Jenkins? Some other grifting piece of shit, incompetent, GOP-affiliated litigator?

Isn't it his right to sue the Media who labeled him? If he's asking for funds, maybe he doesn't want to use his pocket money for the lawsuit....He's up against giant media corp, It's wise to raise some serious $$$ to do that...
he's after a huge payday.

mandrill is pointing out that there is very little evidence that Sandmann got a huge payday.
That's why the plan is to fund raise up front, spend as little as possible on the trial, and make money from the fundraising.
Then get speaking fees as "the hero who sued CNN for millions".

Law & Crime estimated that the payout was only $50,000 on Sandman. Basically, a few cents in US litigation terms. These lawsuits are performative and are done to hype up the players and raise huge piles of $$$$$ for the lawyers and other hangers-on to suck on. The actual settlements are low and are kept confidential.

He wants to also sue Whoopi Goldberg and Cenk Uyghur from Young Turks for calling him just a "murderer". LOL!!
He has admitted to killing two individuals and shooting another. So no legal ground to stand on, in that case. Maybe he will sue any media for stating that he has a violent record after he was filmed punching a girl on the street. Guess, that was only a "gentle tap" to the right wingers. LOL!! But wishful thinking if he thinks that he will win against these two individuals, as he is a murderer for taking two lives!!

Here's AMC (the king of the LOL-suit giggles on Twitter) telling us why KR's supposed lawsuits might be the biggest, most pathetic LOL-suits of them all!
Mr. Cohen is wrong. Rittenhouse was clear that he will go after Whoopi Goldberg for calling him a "murderer" AFTER his acquittal. That is no longer an opinion. She was in the possession of the facts of the matter and disregarded them. That's libelous and he has an excellent case against her as he has against Cenk. Both of their parent companies will settle because this is not the case you want to take before the civil jury.

jc is so optimistic, bless him.

According to Marjorie Taylor Green, Kyle Rittenhouse is a hero deserving of a Plastic Heart.

Mr Cohen is a practising trial lawyer in the US and you are not. So Mr Cohen is right and you are trolling, as usual.

Let me add, Mr Cohen clearly deals with the argument you are making and indicates that US libel law is far more complicated than you assume and favours the defendant.

We sure will. KR and his new grifter lawyer will raise $500,000 from the sheeple. They will then start a couple of lawsuits with maximum PR. The sheeple will give more. When the sheeple have been fully milked, the lawsuit will be settled for about $50,000. (It's cheaper for the insurance company to pay a tiny, derisory settlement than to move for dismissal in a pathetic, weak lawsuit.) The amount will be made subject to a confidentiality agreement and KR will go on Fucker Carlson and announce a HUGE win, without revealing how little he actually got.

The rumour mill will leak that the settlement was in the high $$$ millions, but of course no one will officially verify that. The massive amount grifted from you and your friends will be taken by the shyster lawyer who will buy yachts and limos and mansions and a massive advertising campaign featuring his massive 'win' over CNN, the NYT or whomever.

Then KR will start another lawsuit and milk the sheeple again. It's a dandy scam. You and Oracle will get so excited each time that you will give $$$$$ over and over and over again.

That's all fine and dandy, also wholly beside the point. America is still a free country and he can pursue a relief in any way he likes.

He can file any horseshit he wants. It may get a settlement that is barely worth the name, or get dismissed on a pre trial motion as legal nonsense. But he gets to file it and it lives in the court files for a little while. Yup.

And I'm sure he'll plead 'self defence' after he 'goes after her'.
