the bottom line

I don't think it fair to judge any one group or individual for the choices they make. Sure we can judge them for the way they act ie: dangerous driving, tailgating, etc.
but if it is hobbying, camera equipment, computers, model trains or cars, it is just a way of expressing ones self.
besides, if someone wants to soup up a car, let them, it's their hard earned cash.

but fer cryin' out loud, it's a F*$king honda civic??!!

How about Lotuses? Like the Elise, the older Espirit? Porsche 944 S Turbo? 968 CS Turbo S? Integra Type-R? Honda S2000? Lotus Super 7? Vauxhall VX200? Mitsubish Lancer EVO? Ford Cosworth Escort? BMW E30 M3, 2.5L EVO? Older Merceders-Benz 190E 2.5L?

Man, the list goes on and I am sure these cars are not "girly" ...

By the way, how many winnings do Vettes get in their class and match withed other cars in its range? Pick on someone your own size Troops. But your a big guy, so you look good in your Vette. I am a small guys and maybe that's why I like smaller cars ... hehehe

Offstage, instrument tuned.
The last time I was in an M5 it seemed to have a 8 cylinders, and a little more displacement than 4L.
I do have one question...are all the guys who drive those modified Honda's really that short? They all seem to be midgets, or else they are sitting on the floor...if they are sitting on the floor, it must be a hell of a ride with those low tire sidewalls, lowered suspension etc.
It is kinda fun to smoke the occasional Honda with my 'old man' Mercedes...some of those kids should get there eyes checked so they see the tiny V12 insignia. LOL

Yes, you are right depending on which year the M5 was made ... apologies ... hehehe

And a for the drivers being midgets ... well, they probably have racing Recaros in them ... hehehe

HMM just so we're all on the same wavelength here, its all about who is faster/bigger/better/louder/taller/longer/ blah blah blah

Right now there are vehicles on the road, with drivers behind the wheel, that could eat a vette for dinner and leave you thinking: WTF was THAT?

Right now, there are drivers looking at that vette and thinking: *****, my scarab with 3 8 litre V8's putting out 3000 hp blows that kitten away

Right now, there are tuners out there with a 4 CYL engine that will take your vette in the quarter mile. (BTW what's the quarter mile time on your vette?)

Right now, there are people driving too slow/too fast/drunk who shouldn't be on the road.

Right now, as in the past, guys will be racing. In the 60s you could buy a street legal, barracuda, with 600 HP and would do the 1/4 mile in under 11 seconds, FROM THE FACTORY.

Rub said it correctly: real men race on the track and they DONT do it one handed.

Right now, no matter how fast you think your car is, there is someone faster.

yes, some tuner cars look silly, but some, SOME look kick ass and they are no different than anyone who takes someone's stock idea, and personalizes it and makes it their own.

Speaking of stock: I hope you all realize that most cars from the factory (and yes, BMW) are made for a general class of people. EVERY car from the factory can be made to either handle/ride/accelerate/stop quicker or better. Why do you think BMW makes the M series?

Anyhow, this forum is more about testosteroni (which is the REAL san francisco treat) than anything else.

Oh and pro1? I have a 1/10th scale vette with a stock top speed of 65 mph. That's 650 MPH in your scale. I am shopping around for a 2 speed transmission for it and with that, I will be able to hit 100. (can you say 1000 mph scale speed?) Come and talk to me when you can beat that!! (btw, I only paid 150.00 US for it hehhehe)

Since we are on the topic of cars, I just checked out the latest BMW 5 series and the new X3 ...

The New 5 is butt ugly in pictures at least. We will have to see how it really looks like on the streets ...

As for the X3, I think its a great car and a great deal too ...

Check them out at www.bmw.ca

To us they're actually a bunch of losers.

Hmmmm, I wonder what they would call you if they new you paid for sexual favors on a monthy basis?

I'm not one to past judgement on someone else. At least there not robbing or dealing drugs. I can live in a world where the teens of today hang-out at timmies and stay out of trouble.

No, i'm not a street racer

Dear Emma,

I have a Ford Taurus, with nice comfy seats, that go back all the way...

And this says?
You are comfortable with your sexuality and don't need to try yo outwardly display it. LOL

BTW, for all the people who were offended I do apologize, I expected it to get a few laughs not turn into such a heated discussion. The above reply was the type I expected. Sorry to anyone I may have offended but as I said it was all meant in good fun.

I know a guy a few years back who thought he was cool racing around some other tool in his vette and cut off a poor woman and her daughter on the 401, they crashed and the Mother was killed instantly.
He is no longer the same person and lives in remorse and sorrow everday of his life now.
So next time your racing around think about it,if anything you look like an idiot.
I'd much rather drive slowly........easier for everyone to get a good look at your ride.

Another time I saw a tool just like you on the gardiner just before the Spadina exit racing in his vette z series(cocky liscence plate to...ZR14ME) and lost it and slammed into the divider and wrote his vette off. funniest thing is I had my camera with me so when we approached the wreckage I got out and took pictures ,he was so upset he was telling me off, I told him easy guy the pics are for my scrap book. LOL
I'll never forget that moron.

take it to the track if you think your so cool.
