Apparently the L.A Kings have signed Craig Conroy. Poor Flames, who are they gonna get to replace him?

Well it's a free market.....

Conroy figured he'll get a better financial deal in LA, good for him. He's eastablished himself as a solid player, might as well get paid like one.

He's American.
He's 32 yrs old (this probably his last contract) so security is an issue.
He also knows there will be nothing but crumbs left if the Flames sign Iggy and Luprasoff.

It really makes me sometimes wonder. What would Conroy see in LA as an improvement over Calgary?

If you watched Conroy last year doing interviews he was playing the mic like a pro. I think he may be hoping to catch a break out there in La La Land in film or TV too. Just a thought

The Kings over paid for Conroy, he had one good playoff and a sub average career. So they let Palffy and Deadmarsh go and replace them with Conroy..........Man am I happy the Leafs are not in there division.

The Leafs should be in our division - that way I could go to hockey games instead of having to watch the Lawrence Welk show to get my fill of old farts.

Why do you feel the need to get a fill of old farts? hmmm weird if you ask me...but whatever floats your boat.
