I take it that we agree to disagree. That is fine. Your point about water is valid and important. I never said that your ideas were not valid. It is good to discuss different viewpoints, opinions and options; the world is not monochromatic. I might add that if you are on high protein diet, watch your kidneys. Some, but not all people are susceptible to kidney issues with high protein diets. Also, veggies are very much good, complex carbs that we all need, such as fibre and other types of good carbs.I checked out your post, but its just a blogger rant and doesn't contain any useful real information.
I'm curious how you got kidney damage on keto, from what I've read that happens only with lack of water (you should drink more water on keto) or lack of vegetables. Making keto work means way less processed food, I hardly eat any.
Just lots of vegetables, good fats and a bit of protein.
The people I've talked to who are on it are like compromised in the last page, having success with it. What I like about this is it isn't a 'fad', it is based on science.
I put myself into ketosis in the first month and lost a pile of weight and felt better. Since then I haven't worried about being in ketosis and just don't feel good if I eat carbs.
And have felt the best I've felt in decades.
If it doesn't work for you, that's fine, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work for me and my views are invalid.
Peace, Brother.
