Kentucky Fried Chicken - A Review

That explains it. I wondered why it was so popular with (poor) Americans what with the price but if there's unlimited sides, I can understand why.

I've never seen that in any US KFC I've been to.

It may have been a promotional campaign from awhile ago.

The last time I was in a KFC in the US, the menu was a la carte:

$6 for 3 pc meal w/ biscuit, 2 sides + $1.70 for drink

The chicken was just as greasy as I remember it. I saw them cooking it in an oven, whereas I think they used to deep fry it? So in theory it should be at least a little less greasy. In theory...

Are you sure they were cooking it in an oven? I think they still deep fry it hence why it's so greasy. I believe they keep the chicken warm in an 'oven-like' appliance.

The only good thing about KFC is the skin, they should serve a bucket with nothing but skin.

I do second that. I thought I was the only person who thought of that 'bucket of skin combo'. I was going to patent that idea.

I prefer Popeye's over KFC as it's less greasy and more crispier but both aren't good for you either way. KFC is the better laxitive though.

Popeye's is good, but a bit more pricey.

Loblaws' fried chicken is damn good.

That Mary Brown makes a mean bird. Too bad Church's isnt around anymore. used to have it at Harvey's.

Popeye's is decent.

Loblaw's actually has really good fried chicken in thier prepard foods section. yes, i know its PC brand. stil...

I rarely go out for Fried Chicken, but when I do Mary Browns has the best fast food chicken...plus I love their taters!
