I'm also all four an honest and independent inquiry, which we have. So let's just be clear about that: the only thing we disagree on is the "public" part. Should I say, "If you're not into a secure, independent, detailed, and thorough investigation, you're a Chinese agent"? That would be silly, as I'm sure you're all for it being independent, detailed, and thorough, right? It only makes sense to mention the difference: public or secure.
I would be very upset if the government did nothing. But I can point to a laundry list of things they've done, no matter how much you try to ignore them. And I can point to multiple ongoing investigations involving all major parties, all intelligence agencies, and all law enforcement agencies, and I know even if one group in there did want to bury something, they wouldn't be able to. Even if that group is the PMO.
