Hi all,

im in my late 30s and I can definitely stand to lose at least a solid 50lbs, seriously. And I can feel in my ‘performance’ sometimes. So been trying to be more active and eat healthier.
Just wondering if I am ‘competing’ with male models on here with SPs I see lol

I was very athletic in high school and played on multiple teams. Uni was less team sports, but more gym time.

I’m definitely not in the best shape of my life, but am comparatively in better shape than most guys my age.

When I’m with the ladies, they tend to squeeze my delts or biceps when we’re intimate.

However, my sex drive is lower than when I started this lifestyle 5 years ago. I don’t know if it’s lower testosterone. Perhaps it’s just a natural sign of aging. I just don’t feel the need to get laid 2 to 3 times a week anymore.

Maybe that’s not a bad thing…

Geezer Butler was asked why he's the only member of Black Sabbath without health problems - he said he's a vegetarian.

I'm in Rodney Dangerfield shape. In the shape I'm in you can donate my body to science fiction.

For the OP, it's never too late. I was a serious runner in my late thirties. In my forties I gained 80+ lbs for a variety of reasons. Once Covid started I got serious about losing it. Lost all of it plus about another 15. Now in my early fifties and in best shape of my life.

Diet is 80% or more of it. You need a caloric deficit and there is a million ways to do that (keto, calorie counting, vegetarian, whatever works for you).

For exercise just pick whatever you enjoy or at least don't hate (cardio, weights, swimming, whatever) and be Consistent. Fuck perfection, fuck optimization, fuck intensity, just be consistent. That's all that it takes.

If I can do it anyone can. And yes, I do get praise from the SPs and the sugarbabies for being in great shape and having great stamina. Sure, they get paid to say it but still, feels good... haha

Be more worried about you "internal" fitness not how good you look in the mirror.
Get regular blood work done, monitor your BP & HR.
Don't smoke anything.
Watch what you put in your body.

Middle age, quitting smoking years ago, stress and stress eating, some health issues, and mostly sedentary work have taken their toll over the years.

In the last couple of years I've made substantial diet changes, now seldom drink, and am exercising (mostly walking) far more. My waist has slowly been moving in the correct direction, and my belly has gone way down.

So too big, but getting better.
