Mainly because when nominated she was adjudged not qualified by the ABA, she does not know the law and she is intentionally slow walking the case she has in order to help the stable genius avoid his day in court.

Usually it's just his lawyers doing the stalling. Shouldn't a Trump appointed Judge recuse herself when Cheeto is the defendant?
All methods of selecting judges have problems though.
The best you can do is have a system that has various checks and balances and try to encourage a judicial/legal culture that minimizes the problem.
What we are seeing now is partly the structural problems and partly a 50-year campaign to destroy that idea of a neutral judicial culture.
Just another example of the disdain for democracy which now characterizes what now passes for the gop.
