Morgentaler was never found guilty, and neither was she.
You are so blinded by your own prejudices that you will attribute every motive to these people
except the possibility that they are fighting on principle, as if it's so inconceivable to hold such beliefs.
People become poster childs (children?) within movements, and many times unwillingly.
The fact that something can be monetized doesn't necessarily mean it's corrupt.
You've got it backwards, Peterson is spearheading a response against a system that has been fucked with,
a system that doesn't reflect the will of the majority in that aspect.
They wouldn't dare take a referendum on this.
Except it appears that she was found guilty.

And the fact that something is aggressively monetized suggests strongly that it is corrupt.

And the majority does not support Peterson. The majority does not vote PPC, let alone the ranting, extreme version of conservatism protrayed by JP.

And Trudeau has won 3 elections in a row. That enough of a referendum for you? How many times does he have to win?

I too collect weird shit from the Net. And I put it in my Red Tsunami of Rightie Silliness thread. And that stuff is pretty mainstream rightie-ness.

If I was to hoover around the fringes like Peterson or "Libs of Tiktok", I could come up with endless examples of neo Nazi, anti vaxxers who believe that America is run by shape-shifting lizard aliens. The crazies are out there and they prove fuck-all except Peterson gets a few thousand more clicks from people who are gullible enough to follow him, like you.

Hi Mandrill. According to her twitter, she's not even working as a teacher, right now.

So let me throw this out at you. Why is Phahl not supported by many, many more teachers? Why does she just run with the Far Right crowd?

If there was value to what Pfahl was doing, wouldn't her support among the teaching profession be massive and cut across party lines?

Ditto Peterson. If he was saying anything that made sense to the psychology profession, wouldn't all those shrinks be lining up to protest the CPO's ruling and demanding the Board resign and hold new elections where a pro Peterson slate of directors could be elected?

No one's out there for them. The only people who support them are people who are addicts of the Far Right Twittersphere like the dudes in this thread. So let's break this down. Peterson and Pfahl and that nurse in Victoria are bright enough. You don't get through professional school without having a few brain cells. You think they haven't figured out that YOU are their primary audience, not their own profession? YOU are their source of $$$$$ and Peterson rakes in $$$ millions more than you could ever dream of. Betcha Pfahl's interested in those clicks and contracts too.

Excellent post. However, I hope Pfahl does make some money. She's obviously a very smart lady, and she should follow Peterson. Peterson does have the support of 70 top professionals. As been mentioned upthread, a lot of these professionals are afraid to support Peterson and Pfahl publically, because they are afraid of their respective colleges. They don't want to lose their livlihood!!

As I've repeated literally a thousand times, I'm happy that JP has enough fawk you money, to take on the CPO.

IMHO, JP has the support of tons of professionals. Way more than 70 out of 10000+ However, these other professionals, are afraid of their left leaning "woke" colleges.
Except there's strength in numbers. And people talk amongst themselves. You don't think teachers hang out together and chat about their jobs?... How about shrinks?

If these people were really alarmed or pissed off, they'd be lining up 10,000 strong to demand that the professional complaints against Doc Pee be thrown out. And the College would cave in to that kind of pressure.

Are there people out there who "sort of sympathize a little" with Pfahl and Pee?.... Probably. But not enough to really give a shit. And Pee has burned a shitload of bridges in his own profession. He had a vendetta against "leftie" psych professors at U of T. How popular do you think THAT made him among his colleagues?!...... He's a dude who fucks over his comrades. Bet there are LOTS of shrinks who hate his ass and wouldn't support him in a million years. Throw in his weird attitudes about women and how they should be housewives and out of the work force. How'd you think THAT makes women psychologists feel?!?!?!

I bet if there was one guy 90% of the shrink profession would like to lynch, that guy'd be Doc Pee.

I'm betting Pfahl is an asshole as well.

Hi again Mandrill, You're really bringing your "A" game to this thread. You're making some excellent points. Good for you!!

My simple response is this. I mostly agree with you. IMHO, I think that most professionals, just really care about themselves. Whether it's a lawyer, a psychologist, a doctor etc etc It takes a lot of hard work to become a professional. Most professionals, that I just mentioned, earn at least $150000-$200000 yr minimum. Some top lawyers and medical doctors earn over a million dollars/yr. IMHO, very few professionals are going to give a shit about JP. It's also true that JP has pissed off a lot of his colleagues.

With that being said, I think that JP likes the controversy and attention.

Also these colleges can be a pain in the ass. Here's proof, how most professionals should try and stay away from the colleges, if possible. Nurse Amy Hamm of BC, has already had 11 days of hearings with the college of nurses and midwifes, with no end in sight.
