Some leader. I thought he said he was "going all the way to the convention, whatever it takes". Well, thumb him in as the "people's candidate for the working poor and middle class" who gave up the fight, not once, not twice (in 2004), but 3 times by losing the election with Kerry as his VP candidate.

He became household name over the years so he though he had chance. But it's actually good that he is dropping out right now while he was third runner up and go back home to take care of his wife with cancer.Gyaos said:

Edwards will probably ass-kiss Obama, but Edwards anglo-caucaision voter base will go 65% Clinton, 35% Obama.

I think Edwards only stayed in as long as he did to amass some delegates to bring to the convention, that could give him some bargaining power to get a plumb job in the new administration.
I think that's also why Huckabee, etc., stay in so long too.

Edwards is 0 for 1 as a VP Candidate. He blew it in the Dick Cheney debate and there's no way Hillary will pick him. Now if Obama wins (he won't), I could see Edwards in there. But McCain will slaughter both of them, just like Bush Jr did it to Kerry/Edwards.Kailani said:
