Donnie should get a ribbon for being 2nd best in soon to be 3 straight elections
That would almost be like Canada in the days of the Soviet Union.

Can I say it.......they cheated. ;)

so what countries in the world right now are well run in your opinion ?
Questions like this are generally bait. Especially without telling us who you think is in a great position.

Some developed economies that even though different have structural advantages that give them momentum. Others don't.

This is in the end is kind of silly and redundant. You're hear enough to know that I don't revere the power of the government to advance economic growth. I've posted on the American, Canadian, U.K., EU and Chines economies more than enough.

True, to say it is remarkable Russia a country running a third world
economy has not gone bankrupt fighting Ukraine with the backing
of the most affluent nations in the world by now is an understatement.
There is not an iota of a chance Russia has the resources to occupy
the entire Ukraine and hold on to it. And people are worrying it is going
to take over Europe after Ukraine.
Well, I have found that no matter which side of the political spectrum people tend to fantasize about foreign affairs. There's one active member out there who has an amazingly imaginative map and history of the world in his head.

I don't know your posting history that well to know if you are being sarcastic.

Generally countries are more accepting of high immigration levels the legal channel and less structured when the economy is strong. (See how the Left has won the language game. Crossing the border beyond entry points is no longer called illegal.)
What's there to be sarcastic about?

Democrats were critical of Republican stance on illegal immigration. Republicans said "ok fine lets see how you like it". Citizens in the Blue cities like Chicago or New York are getting a taste of reality and they hate it.

Billions of tax payer money are being funnelled to illegals. These illegals have become the cuckoo in the nest.

No surprise Biden's numbers are bad and No surprise they are trying to sink Trump.

No doubt that there will be more Republicans jumping ship:

Georgia’s Former No. 2 Republican Explains Why He’s Voting for Joe Biden in 2024
Former Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan shared his reason for opposing Donald Trump in an op-ed published on May 6

Well, well well, this Trump criminal trial seems to be shifting the polls:

Biden leads Trump among likely voters in new 2024 polling

Lucy would kill Ricky if he voted for the Repugs!!!!
This might just be your typical sloganeering.

It's possible you don't actually understand older Cuban-Americans.

It's more likely that a joke went over your head and your rush to protect Trump and the Repugs makes you part of the cult. LMAO

There's two problems with this self-congratulatory post. Calling Republicans Repugs isn't actually a joke. Repeatedly calling politicians names like PeePee and Orange Man isn't just infantile it's well-beyond redundant here. There is certainly no subtlety flying over anyone's head.

Such posts are the forum equivalent of a sugar-coated cereal flake with no added substance. They make the like-minded feel good about their choices without really requiring the poster and their audience to think much about policy, outcomes and articulation thereof.

If you are really looking for a cult why don't you look at the suave, glib leader of a country who inherited the mantle from his father with limited experience. He's magically delicious. ;)

The last and not least problem is that Desi Arnaz was a committed Republican.

Well, he is Cuban and they know how a government can fuck up an economy. ;)
I see, so it is ok for you to throw an innuendo implying the dems are fucking up the economy but

it is not ok because I maligned the Repugs, the liars and the bullshitters. Gotcha!!!

I rarely throw innuendo around in regards to economics. I believe I have specifically addressed what Biden Administration policies have made inflation stubborn and difficult for the Fed to fight. Opinions yes, innuendo not even close.

You do what makes you feel good about your politics. If you throw in some insight and specifics beyond good things simply happen when you vote for progressives, we will all be interested. I really don't care about the use of the word Repugs, but after about the 1267th time on TERB you wonder who is all on the other side of the keyboard.

I don't recall Poilievre personally calling Trudeau a "whacko" but I share some of his views on drug policies. I'm sorry but I have a feeling most Canadians do too.

As far as I am concerned, Canadians will soon have a choice between two peters. See that's a joke. Is it a great joke, maybe not. It does however cut across different themes. First and foremost, I am not merely slinging insults at politicians or parties based on animosity and ideology. It's an equal opportunity play on words. Then there is the French-Canadian theme just lying close to the surface. Lastly, it would seem you like playing with politician's names.

I appreciate that you don't use insults in your political debates. If that were the norm here it would be better and easier to discuss issues.

PP was kicked out of the house for calling Trudeau a 'wacko', that's well reported.
But how do you take that stand and then back a leader who repeatedly uses even worse insults and mockery on a daily scale?
A guy who was fined $85 million for slandering someone he was accused of raping?

If you can figure out a plan to deescalate the insults here I'd gladly join, discussing issues and politics is way more interesting than trading barbs.
