Sometimes you can be the best player on a team and not have outstanding stats...but Jeter certainly has.

Chew on this. If you have any issues take it up with ESPN. I defy you to find one credible source that lists Jeter even in the top 3 Yankees.

BTW, you might not want to look seeing as even Yogi is ranked above Jeter.

I'd put Jeter on the same tier as Yogi Berra, below Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio and Mantle. Level with Mariano Rivera. One level up on Phil Rizutto, Whitey Ford, Thurman Munson and Billy Martin.
