That's hilarious. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Where did you see that? I thought superpacs didn't have to report donations.

Your ongoing belief that a Trump presidency will produce progressive policy remains baffling.

That's exactly the plan, but like someone just said, COVID and homelessness means no one will care because she is some nonsense person from tv and Twitter isn't real life.
I think it was Kyle Kulinski I saw it. May have been another pundits. And they do have to file total money, just not where it came from.

Progressive policy includes no new wars and curbing China Trade. I was hopeful. Now much less so.
But with Biden I see a war in Syria. Maybe Venezuela, Maybe back to Libya.

And he will bow to China.

And I'm about 80% convinced he will go for his grand bargain deficit reduction and cut Social Security. He is a one term so he won't care.

Yes, but only quarterly, right? I don't think they would have submitted anything until the end of this month. Kulinski may have better info there, though, so he's probably right.

Progressive policy includes no new wars and curbing China Trade.
Yes on one, no on two. "Curbing China Trade" is a content-free sentence.
Those are also, of course, only two parts of a much larger progressive agenda. If those are your only two complaints, clearly Progressive policy is looking ok here.

I was hopeful. Now much less so.
Hopeful? Trump in charge made you hopeful for those two things?
The first of those is something you can't anticipate from Trump (he's wanted a war for a while and says so repeatedly). The second doesn't mean anything, so I can't judge whether or not you would get it from Trump.

But with Biden I see a war in Syria. Maybe Venezuela, Maybe back to Libya.
Trump wants a war in Venezuela, we've been lucky other shit has kept him from being able to pull it off.
What war in Syria and Libya do you see under Biden?

And he will bow to China.
In what way? How would he be weaker against China than Trump? This is, once again, a content-free statement.

And I'm about 80% convinced he will go for his grand bargain deficit reduction and cut Social Security. He is a one term so he won't care.
So you are about 80% convinced he will try and cut Social Security, versus someone who has already tried to cut Social Security.
I'm also impressed that you think Biden is so compelling that he can make House Democrats vote to cut Social Security. I didn't realize you thought so highly of his persuasive powers.

Quarterly yes. But they have only been around that long. And recieved zero money.

Says something about Biden support in that demographic.

As to the rest as I said I'm disappointed in Trump on China, but they tend to think in generational terms and he thinks 5 minutes from now.

If Trump wanted a war in Venezuela he could have had it. Bolton was pushing for it and if I'm not mistaken said it's one of the reasons he left. Because he wouldn't go there and was trying for troop removal in Afghanistan. Trump isn't a war monger. That's not how he makes money.

As to SS he has been trying for decades. Right up to 2015.

Now imagine a GOP controlled Senate and House in the mid terms(entirely possible) no Filibuster (he has expressed an interest in killing it) and the Covid 19 deficit as his excuse.

"Entitlements" have been one of the golden rings for the deficit hawks for a long time. And yes that includes some Democrats.

Trump has been a disaster. Look at the Infection and death numbers from this Pandemic. One death in Benghazi triggered the most useless and longest investigation.
But these deaths and infections seem to be of no concern to the Bunker Bitch. Biden will bring back sanity!!

Will take your word for it. Like I said, happy for Weaver to be humiliated. Not a decent man.
Although I found his video clip on it. What he links too doesn't look like a filing. It looks like a placeholder because no filing has been made yet.

But yeah. Don't care either way. Weaver is a dick.

That most realize weaver is a dick? It shows good sense. I see the other one that an ex Bernie guy started (the one that is doing Latino outreach) has a couple of million and seems to be running ads now. So it seems people knew who actually was doing something helpful and who was a scammer.

So you still can't explain what you mean by any of that. Cool. Cool.

That you don't understand the American system really hampers these conversations. That you don't listen to Trump about his hardon for war as well. You are right that he doesn't believe in war for ideological reasons. He supported the Iraq war because he thought they could go in and steal oil easily. Trump will go to war for two reasons - "look tough" and "steal shit". That he hasn't been able to convince the army those are good reasons doesn't mean he doesn't want a war.

(He is going to do a domestic one for his "look tough" idea. Unfortunately for him, again, he couldn't convince the army to go along.)

As to SS he has been trying for decades. Right up to 2015.
That you don't understand things well enough to contextualize them makes these conversations difficult. Learn the difference between means and ends.

Good! A structural argument. So pitch me how that works. Biden wins president but the Dems lose the House. (unlikely combination, but ok)

The GOP, which is trying to cut social security right now - they are trying to include a way to fast track it in the COVID-19 relief bill, puts cuts to social security in a budget. This is, of course, Biden's fault? Amazing.

You want me to fear Biden on social security, give me a scenario where he makes it happen. Not one where he can't stop it.

Chuck Roche? He has a Biden SuperPac? Or one for down ballot?

As for Biden.......I said after the midterms.....and it's a good possibility the GOP can take back the house and Senate. And I don't think he would stop it. He has always wanted it. That you can't deny. And he will certainly work with all his good friends to make it happen. The man Considered Strom Thurman a good friend.

He is more than capable of going low.
